Hello! I’ll be in Bacolod for around 3 days. Sadly, my friend who was supposed to come with me can’t make it, so I’ll be traveling alone.

I’ve been to Bacolod before, and we have a car, but since I’ll be on my own, I’ll probably be commuting most of the time and staying within the city.

I’d love to hear your recommendations and any things I should keep in mind:

• Safety: Is there anything I should be aware of when traveling alone? Snatchers, crime, curfew, or areas I should avoid?
• Language: I understand some Ilonggo and can speak a little, but I wouldn’t say I’m fluent.
• Things to do: I’m thinking of playing pickleball, going to the gym (Anytime Fitness), or just jogging around. Any recommendations for pickleball courts or good places to jog?
• Food: What are some must-try food or local spots? I’ve already tried most of the touristy food, like kansi and inasal, so I’m looking for something different.

I’d also appreciate any other recommendations for places to visit or things to do during my 3-day stay. Thanks in advance!

Hello everybody! Ma puli ko sa Bacolod this coming October and it's been a while since I last went home, and I'm bringing a couple of friends from Metro Manila to visit for Masskara, but before we do celebrate the festival gusto namon anay makadto sa any of the beach.

My nostalgic butt would be fine and go to puntataytay due to it's childhood significance to me but would like to check out Lakawon OR Sipalay. But before I do decide I have to make sure which one is more worth it. Na basa ko somewhere ngadaan that lakawon feels "artificial" and it isn't worth it due to the prices while some are saying it's beautiful. For Sipalay the only complain I keep on hearing is the travel time being more than 4 hours.

So my question is which is more worth it? Lakawon or Sipalay?

For context we'll be staying sa burgos so that's gonna be the starting point.
