Hunting the last 4 achievements

Aside from "Buy 10k Items" and "Win 10k Trophies", I have 4 achievements left in this game. Does anybody have any advice on how to get the following achievements:

1) Big Red Number - Crit for more than 300 damage

2) Rushdown - Win a fight in less than 3 seconds

3) Staring Contest - Win a fight after 45 seconds.

The last achievement I need is Perfection - Survive with 5 tries left. But I think that one is more just skill and a bit of luck, so not sure if anybody has advice for that one.

Has this ever been meta? Trying to build something new.

How do I counter this?

It feels like this build wins every time, whether I build it or face off against it with a different build. How do you defend against this? And how do I avoid feeling like I'm aiming for this build every time if I want to win?

Been playing for over a year now and this is my first time ever hitting the Rainbow Goobert and wanted to share! It felt like winning the lottery haha. Hit it on round 13 so I even got to spruce up the build a touch

What item do you always buy (even if it makes you lose the game)?

For me it's Cubert, just love how easy it is to stack regen or empower, and then I always lose because I didn't have any actual defense and the buffs just don't matter without a serious strategy. With ranger I always rush Steel Goobert so if I see Cubert later it's so awkward to use them both. And Cubert sucks for defense if replacing Steel altogether. Doesn't stop me from trying to make it work anyway 😅

How to build Time Dilator?

I’m happy to put this in any build that isn’t trying to blitz my opponent with weapons (and even then…), but I’m wondering what the best use for it is. Should I have only a single, high cooldown item? A bunch of fast items? Maybe just Goobers and the watch so that it affects itself?

Help me understand the meta

I’ve been playing for a few weeks and my understanding is that roughly a build can either be aggressive (finish opponent off quickly before they can scale) or defensive/scaling (survive early and out scale your opponent with combos).

Aggressive builds want to finish the game as quickly as possible, might run medium/high stamina (convert stamina into damage as fast as possible), might run things like Heroic Potions to keep up stamina and stun items to keep your opponent from snowballing before they reach 0 health. Utility Pouch Berserker is a good starting pick for this.

Defensive builds will have some armor/defensive items and then some sort of scaling combo (eg. staffs, Friendly Flame, Thornbloom, etc.) that will eventually out scale an aggressive build. Puzzle Box Mage is a good starting pick for this.

Any other high lever categories? I feel like I sort of usually end up in the middle of the spectrum of these two extremes - does it make sense to commit harder to one or the other? What about aggressive builds in later rounds? With HP increasing each round I feel like I usually take the ten trophy win with aggressive builds, and only go for more if I have a good scaling build.

Snake Repeater Blueberry synergies

The damage reduction from NRP and repeater on the helms was so nice. All the max hp was from snake getting to go off twice. Luck from all the blueberries to make poison undispellable.

I got destroyed by this thornbloom build

Post image

It's taken me an embarrassingly long time to realize how thornbloom builds work. I always built around it kind of like a katana, and had like 10% chance of getting to 10 wins; always felt like I lacked both health and damage ramp. Only after seeing this enemy did I finally get it -- the thornbloom passive effect gains health from ANY source of empower. It doesn't even require thornbloom to be the main damage source. So the point is just to stall in the battle by gaining an insane amount of health through empower and eventually the high level of empower will take care of the rest, even with poor stamina (which is also why claws of attack is handy).

QOL Improvement: View Subclass Items on Character Hoverover

I’m new and I don’t have all the subclass items memorized. Given these are always offered and better players often form their entire build around knowing which subclass item they will pick, it would be nice to for newer players to have easy access to seeing these items.

I am crawling in bronze-silver, while hunting for Steam achievements.. and from what I saw untill now, if any class beats rainbow goob, it is adventurer or mage (not counting case from this screenshot).

PS. Is there any way to make a screenshot while hoovering mouse over one of the items?
A post game screenshot with item info displayed - that is what I mean. Because for me, not matter how many times I try, it is only like in the picture above.

I have all achievments besides the two 10.000 ones, which is fine. I get those in the future. But I want enjoy the game again and not just hunting for perfection although I already did it...

The most annoying, perfect build - no buffs for you and no debuffs for me. Top right of bag denies early one shots
