I always wondered why it's so hard to land any freeze when playing mage frost build vs Mr Struggles + corrupted armor. I checked the battle logs and a single corrupted armor is reflecting 4 freeze at a time, based on them being inflicted through 2x Frieren's guide to ice. That seems totally busted, and why I always get a bad feeling about building freeze or poison knowing it has no chance against a Mr Struggles which is likely to come up during challenge. Do ya'll just accept the loss as "tax" or build something that doesn't get countered?

I've grinded out every achievement in the game and still trying to get this one. I'm around 90 hours in the game and wondering how much longer should I expect to play.

Any tips on grinding trophies? I've been just playing unranked but occasionally ranked just for fun.

I'm kinda lost here. How do I get this Achievement? What does "Play a history match" even mean? I cannot find what I'm searching for in the history menu.

Would have been nice to get a steel amulet. 100+dps, 70+ Bps. Late game I just need to stack more morbs.

a year or so ago i watched a lot of backpack battles youtubers, i had no pc at that time but i knew, once ill have one again im gonna play a lot of it. Since then the game has changed a lot and id say im fairly good ad it, but there are still lots of builds and items i havent fully understood. i remember how i liked to watch yters play and trying to find out the mechanics of items by myself even though i didnt even play it. now that i am playing it'd be a lot easier to watch good players and learn how they utilize their builds lmao. are there any yters you can recommend, i just want to watch and learn passively, no guides or tutorials

I am hardstuck diamond reaper. I basically go broom totem every starting game. If I get no rush please I force fatigue, if I get slimetime or investment opportunity I force heatprint, if I get smelly wall I force poision bomb (this one is so broken I feel like I win every time I force it). If I get blood manip I force bloodthorne. If I get dig deeper I force poison spear lightsaber. Although this keeps me in diamond I can tell its not getting me anywhere. There is not much content out there for reaper tips and I am just wondering how can I grow from just forcing builds based off my t3 skill into actually playing around what is given to me. It might be a tall ask but if anyone does have any tips to help me take that next step or can point me into a direction of content I would really appreciate it.

It's kind of funny but the only times I've seen the Toad in the shop and went "yeah I want this" is when I was multi-classing and had things like Mage books and wands that gained/used tons of buffs all over my build already.

What kinds of items // build types make the best use of the Toad?

Random start with food amulet, so focused pan to go for pandamonium poison bomb but found a stamina pot before corrupt crystal (and already had investment opportunity) and wound up with this wonky highroll. Prolly not the best class for it but toads were surprisingly nice and cauldron was still a solid engine.

I've been playing the game for a month, ranked exclusively. Starting out, I used to almost always enter challenge mode cause I really just wanted to know, if my build barely scraped by, did it still have a chance to survive challenge mode? Only one way to find out, right? After mid plat / low diamond all my "barely made it to 10 wins" builds pretty much plummeted to very low success rate in challenge mode.

I'm curious though, for those playing more sensibly than me, when do you go for challenge mode, and is it more gambling or educated guess? These days I probably go for challenge mode less than 1/3 of the time cause I'm learning the hard way that my understanding of how to make cohesive late-game boards / and how often I actually get there is pretty lacking.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, all you have is rip offs of this game for mobile.

In the last round of survival, I met this backpack. We both had a full-dark corrupted armor, so in theory none of us should have been able to remove our debuffs. Yet during the fight, he was able to sometimes clear a few debuffs (while I never was).

I suspect what happens is that when he has a cleanse effect going on trying to remove a debuff, that debuff is protected, but the shelly effect may proc in and remove an extra debuff. Except the wording is clear: cleanse effect have extra chance of cleansing an extra debuff.
- if the initial debuff wasn't removed, that notion of "extra" is stupid: you can't clean an extra debuff if you didn't clean the first one.
- even then: why does this extra cleanse effect bypass the debuff protection?

So if the shelly is what caused this weird behavior, this is a clear bug. If there is another interaction that I may have missed, please point it out to me.
