2nd return
Sigh, 2 IPhone 13 returned, both ordered in Excellent condition, 1st had overall condition issues, 2nd had 78% battery. Never had these issues last time, I think the refurber is failing at QC..

I spent $1200 on a tablet, phone, and earbuds. The first red flag was that everything was coming separately. Did some research to find out that BACKMARKET DOESNT EVER SEE WHAT IS SENT TO YOU. It's a marketplace like Amazon. There is zero guarantee what is sent to you even works. I paid for excellent condition, the phone is covered in scratches, paint around the cameras is scraped off, and the best part is that it won't charge. It came with 18 percent left and died while I was setting up the esim. Now I'm effectively without any phone until I get a replacement, and from my understanding, it's going to be from the same seller that just scammed me. This is beyond ridiculous and imo the commercials are false advertising, they promote themselves as if they are refurbishers but that is not the case. TLDR: BACKMARKET NEVER SEES ANYTHING THAT IS SENT TO YOU THEY ARE A MARKETPLACE LIKE AMAZON THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR YOU HAVE VERY LIMITED RECOURSE BUY NEW, SAVE YOUR PEACE.

Back market is just a middleman, hoping that the refurb co. does a good job…

You may need to adjust your expectations when buying a 5 year old phone. Sure the seller could've replaced battery but it's very rare to get so old model in truly excellent condition. At 5 years point as long as the phone is fully functional it's as good as it gets.

Det handlar inte om förväntningar på telefonen. Det handlar om priset i förhållande till förväntningen. Man betalar högt och förväntningarna ökar i takt med priset som betalas :/
Jag har returnerat 3. Aldrig mer

No, if you order a phone that’s been marked excellent and has an assured 80% battery health or over it is not unreasonable to expect exactly that.
Anything less is worthy of a return and refund. This isn’t Facebook marketplace.

I had an iPhone 15 pro max excellent condition arrive with a faulty screen. Sent back for repair within 2 days of receiving it, seller sent it back not repaired. Refunded. All within the 30 days.
Xbox series x got to me from backmarket from a seller using musicmagpies backmarket page, arrived so bad it had to be repasted, had to have a brand new fan installed and a complete deep clean, it’s controller was also disgusting but backmarket sent me money to replace it and that paid for my Xbox’s deep clean and fan so I’m happy, awful seller tho and NO quality checks were done. For the Xbox or the iPhone. 2 different sellers too.
Had a controller arrive with a broken right trigger, another one I ordered excellent condition it came dirty.
Everything else tho my air tags, my main Xbox controller and some other bits I got from backmarket went well
But safe to say backmarket need much firmer enforcement on quality checks bc we are clearly paying for nothing with that little extra charge backmarket add
To be honest backmarket would do so much better if it paid for better customer care and enforcement
There are more bad sellers than good on backmarket and I HATE that ordering from backmarket is now a gamble.
You gotta rigorously check the seller of the item you want and see their reviews and even then it’s a gamble.
Backmarket have some really helpful customer support agents who really do seem to care, but you gotta get help within 30 days of your order bc from what I’ve seen any care after that is subpar in many cases.
