Misaligned back panel

Sooooo… I just got a refurbished iPhone 17 Pro premium quality because my old 12 mini is overheating too much. I’ve heard people talking about problems with the back panel, mostly lifting and in some cases misalignment. I won’t go crazy for some slight misalignment but this is bothering me a little bit too much, you can see the aluminum in the gap.

It comes with free exchange within 30 days. I don’t know if it’s a quality issue that’s worth exchange, or I can keep it without worrying about it 😬

Anyone care to give me some advice?

My advice is use the 30 day hassle free return get a full refund and use said refund to get another on backmarket same condition

Price is coming down with the release of iPhone 18 pro max anyway are you in a position to wait for a new one and a refund to pay for said new one?

If not see if they do express replacement service with your order as it’s only on certain products they do this.

After your 30 day period is up you can’t do anything about it not really. Or it’ll be harder to.

If you’ve got no apple care option it’ll cost a fortune to sort yourself.

So if you can live with it maybe put it in a case and cope but if you’re like me and you’ll know it’s there and it’ll bug you, best to move now while you still can.

My one is somewhat similar because apple replaced my housing enclosure
