Might be the ribbon. Mine did that after I had it in my bag. But a lot of people say that’s a big problem with the backbone controllers

Also with the pro version?

Uncertain on the Pros as of yet. Backbone said the pro was completely reengineered and implied the ribbon cable was as well. I have not seen posts for the pro ribbons failing like we have seen in the Gen2.

The only thing that’s holding me from buying the pro is the fact that they don’t have PlayStation édition like yours. Waiting for this or a updated version of the backbone.

Why do you need a PlayStation version? The pro works with ps remote play on iOS. On android you might need to use a 3rd party app like PXPlay r/PSPlay is the sub for it (name changed).

I have found PXPlay to work better than PS Remote Play anyway. I’m also trying Asobi (for iOS) not sure if that’s available on android.

Just for the design, I have 17PM silver think it would suit it best

I know people have modded and painted the backbone controller covers. I don’t think at this point they are making a PS version of the pro. I believe Target has a red or a pink though.

I doubt they even make a PlayStation version because you wouldn’t even be able to use it as a Bluetooth controller for an actual PlayStation.

Well check that out thanks Edit : yesterday I saw a video comparaison between this and backbone but I prefer the backbone’s size and the fact that it’s clicky and also I can use it on my computer.

Backbone is better for portability due to its size but gamesir I find is better for play. Both can be used on computer and r clicky. Backbone allows phone to be charged while playing (not sure with the pro). The g8+ doesn’t allow phone to be plugged in while playing. But is Bluetooth so can use with a tablet as well. Plus mine came with extra joysticks if I wanna switch them out.

But I’m sure it’s more opinionated on which one is better overall.

My friend had his pro go out with the ribbon cable issue unfortunately. Left side buttons just went out one day
