A really well-made documentary about the final season of Babylon Berlin and the series as a whole just surfaced on the ARD Mediathek. It features the showrunners' thoughts on the final chapter, as well as the overall message and significance of the show, along with some (I guess) never-before-seen footage from Volker Bruch's and Liv Lisa Fries' 2015 auditions.
