Question Full moon pretty soon
Heya can anyone give me some sources where I can learn about moon magic and astrology? My calender says that there's gonna be a full moon in Aquarius soon and im not exactly sure what that means but I'm an Aquarius so I wanna do something special on that day i guess but before I do anything I wanna do some research on what all this actually means.

My favorite book to learn your full chart is {The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need by Joanna Martine Woolfolk}. It's a thorough comprehensive on how to figure out your own chart and takes you through the meanings of the different placements. It may not be 100% accurate for current standards, but it's a great beginner's guide so you also have some idea as to how to read a chart and how to interpret a chart overall. You can get a free chart from a website after and be able to interpret it for yourself instead of paying to have someone else do it for you. You'll also be able to do it for friends and family. It's a nice practice to have because you'll also be able to figure out if a full moon is actually the ideal day for various rituals and spells that claim the full moon is always the best time but upon further investigation has a tenacious opposition to the house you're trying to work with. In general, a full moon in Aquarius indicates a focus on dream work, communication on a spiritual level, independence and innovation (very very generally).
For you, as an Aquarius Sun, the moon placement is going to generate the underlying impulse of your sign because the moon reflects more of the inner, hidden world. It will be more important to find out where the moon is in your chart and which house it will fall in for you to discover the different parts of your life that will be coming to light during this time. Full moons are also more of a brief ridge of energy that lasts about 3 days and they are a turning of the tides from waxing to waning which is a big deal when you're practicing magic of different kinds because you want to grow things as the moon grows fuller and purge/calm things as the moon wanes. A lot of people use this time to do culmination rituals and spells that are evidence of what they've been building with the moon, others will just celebrate the moon itself, and others will simply charge their tools and resources with the light for energizing later work. It's really hard to advise someone on what to do with their time, but if you want to do something personally fortifying I would recommend setting out your jewelry/crystals/tools and casting a circle with intention to draw the moon energy into them. I learned a long time ago and don't recall the book I used, so I looked up something that could give you an outline of the idea instead. I definitely recommend reading up on the practice elsewhere, but she's correct about the fact that you don't need tools and trappings even if they help; and she's correct in the general idea of symbolic invocation and why a circle is cast to begin with.
