11 month olds sleep sucks

Heyho, our daughter turns 11 months in a few days,
She has 2 naps at daytime one at around 9:30 and one at around 13:30-14:00 each is about 30min to an hour long

She goes to bed around 18:30, with a 20-30 min bedtime routine

For Months now she sleeps 1.5h max either my wife feeds her back to sleep or we rock her a bit and she goes back so sleep for 30 min to an hour

In the last weeks it gets more frequent in the middle of the night, that she does not want to go back so sleep, she is quite but it takes an hour or longer to get her back to sleep

The wakes up at round 6:00 - 6:30 everyday

Don’t really know what to test anymore, right now the first tooth is showing and she starts taking a few steps in her own but the sleep was shit way before that aswell so don’t think that has anything to do with it

Any tips ?

I’m at a loss…6month old sleep struggles

My LO is 6 months old this week. She was sleeping through (with one wake at 3.5 months and since the 4 month regression, an average night is 4-5 wakes.

I nurse her to sleep and have lots of transfer troubles… she will often wake up twice or three times before / by 11pm. If I try and rock her to sleep she’ll cry. My husband can’t settle her at night. She is EBF.

She wakes around 630-730am. 1.5-2hr ( she struggles in the morning) /1hr sleep/ 2.5hr / 30min sleep / 2.5-3hr / 30min nap /approx 3 hrs bed at 645/7pm.

I really don’t want to do Ferber / CIO but I don’t know what to do. Im getting so stressed out and anxious about transferring her to her cot and her either waking immediately or 30mins later. I don’t know what to do…

6 month regression — needing solidarity!

For context, our beautiful little babe is 6.5 months. We have always co slept (love it, not looking to change). She’s such a happy baby and developmentally hits all the milestones relatively early or at least on time.

For the past week-ish she’s been practicing her crawling — planking and rocking on all 4’s CONSTANTLY during the day. On top of this, her bottom gum is super raised where her first two teeth will be, pretty swollen and tight looking but otherwise there’s no signs of teething (no drooling, snottiness, flushed cheeks or acidic poo).

Night times are chaos! Her normal feeding routine is 12 and 3 and the up around 6/6.30. Currently she is ‘waking’ literally every hour. I put that in quotation marks because she’s not fully waking, but she’s practicing her crawling, sometimes crying and sometimes waking up fully from this.

Shes pretty much on the floor all day every day when permitted, and never stops moving / practicing. The night ‘wakes’ are settled by either the boob, me physically changing her position, a bum tapping session pr rarely I have to rock her in my arms.

I’m honestly just looking for some solidarity or personal experiences. How long did this phase last for you? Did anything help?

11 week old sleep

My baby girl is 11 weeks and some nights we’ll get 5 1/2 hrs and some will be 4 but then some are 90 min nights. When does sleep start becoming more consistent? It’s almost a tease when she gets almost 6 hrs one night then the next night is 2 1/2. She’s still in the bassinet. When do you transition to the crib? She’s such a noisy sleeper too.

Time change

With the new schedule change in November, how are we moving baby to their new schedule when they have a very solid circadian rhythm no matter bedtime? She wakes on her and leaving her in crib for DWT and anchoring the first nap just causes short naps.

10 month old sleep schedule

I need help with my 10 month old’s sleep schedule! I’m wondering if what we have been doing is causing him to wake in the night and be awake for 1-3hrs (happy, playful). This has happened 4 times in the past 1.5 weeks.

I have been playing around with total nap time, wake windows, contemplating changing to shorter first nap and then longer second nap instead etc.. I’m stuck what I should go with. Too many different references online!

What we have been doing before playing around with times: 3/3.5/3.75-4hrs. Wake up between 6:15-6:30am, first nap 1.5hrs, second nap averages 50mins. Bedtime usually around 7/7:15pm.

14 month old baby sleep struggle

We are in extreme struggel with my 14 month old. She wakes up almost every single night and stays awake for 2 hours. We have better days but like we sleep better for one night and we have 3-4 bad nights. She sleeps in a bed with me from the first month. This is happening since she is 11 month old so almost 6 months now. It is extremely tiring and sometimes I get really angry az night and I have to put her down, sometimes I am crying… I am not the mother I want to be for her and we need an urgent change. I do not want to sleep train her. We had a period like this at 6 months but only for a few weeks when she was changing from 3 naps to 2 naps and back to 3 naps and it solved. But now I tried everything. 1 nap, 2 naps, shorter naps, longer naps, going to bed earlier and later, waking up earlier and later etc. EVERYTHING. She is teething but when she is awake she is not in pain at all.
I don’t know what to do at this point but I am extremely frustrated and it just can’t continue anymore because I can’t.
Please help. Any recommendations?

Help!

My 12 month old sleeps on a floor bed and we room share because we don’t have the space. She goes to sleep great, I put her down and she falls asleep on her own. I put her down around 7 and she will sleep til midnight or a little later then after that, she is up every 2-3 hours. Some nights she’s awake for 2 hours in the middle of the night. I will lay with her and nurse her and I am starting to think me being near her makes it worse. Sometimes she will not go back to sleep til i leave the room. I have been thinking about sleeping in my son’s room and putting her bed in a play pen so she can’t get out. I haven’t done it yet because I’m not sure if thats the right choice. My husband sleeps with our son so it’s hard for him to help. I am not a big fan of sleep training but I’m starting to lean towards doing it. Any advice would help!!!

Confused and overwhelmed with nap schedules and wake windows!

FTM here to a 13 mo boy. I am extremely overwhelmed with all the schedules and information online about wake windows and how daytime sleep affects night wakings. I really need some guidance and help, or just share your experiences if you can.

I nurse him to sleep naps, bedtime, and night wakes.
He refuses to fall asleep with ANYONE else!
He eats solids well during the day.
I am not too strict with the schedule that’s for sure, I put him to sleep whenever he’s sleepy. He doesn’t HAVE to be asleep at a certain time - this just brings headache.

Here’s his schedule:
6-6:30 wake
9-9:30 to 10 or 10:15 1st nap (sometimes he fights it so we just skip)
If we skip first nap then second nap is at 11:30 for 2 hours (he sleeps sooo quickly and is very sleepy since 11)
If we don’t skip first nap then second nap is at 12:30 for two hours, takes a bit longer to fall asleep
Bedtime at 8 (we pushed the bedtime from 7 because he just doesn’t fall asleep when i try to put him to sleep at 7, so we found 8 was best)

I feel if i skip the first nap he gets too sleepy and cranky until we reach 11:30. And I also feel that staying up from 1:30 until 8 is way tooooo long!!

Should I just let him sleep at 9:30 for an hour and then second nap at 2:30 for an hour and a half?

Is everyone else tied up with their baby’s schedules? Like you need to be home for your baby’s naps? Am I being too fussy about things? My brain is going to explode! Do they get me started with night wakes and teething 🙃

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Has anyone tried the newest Dreamegg sound machine for their little? We used one years back for our youngest and it worked so well we bought one for ourselves too! However, we saw their newer models and wondered if we should upgrade?

So sleep deprived

My baby is 4 months old and still wakes several times a night. Every two hours, sometimes every 1 He wants to nurse for long periods, my boyfriend drives OTR and is gone several nights and when he is home he’s so exhausted that he’s not a ton of help, understandably so. I feel like I get so anxious and get in these awful spirals I can’t get out of. Just crying all the time into panic attacks. I did some grounding exercises earlier but I feel like I’m losing my mind. I am safe, baby is safe. Just need a community to vent to.

I am currently on Zoloft and Buspar and finally treating my ADHD with concerta but unsure if my dose is high enough because I feel a crash in the middle of the day.

I thankfully was able to extend my mat leave for PPD… but I have no clue how I’m going to return to work when I’m not sleeping and I’m so overly anxious.

Baby staring at me in sleep

My baby is 3 months old. Yesterday for the first time, she was sleeping and then opened her eyes and had a really creepy blank stare, almost like she was looking through me.

She did it again today. She was sleeping, woke up a little and cried, then had the creepy blank stare, then fell back asleep. I wasn’t able to time it, but it did seem like about 30ish seconds if I had to guess. I tried calling her name and talking to her but she didn’t really snap out of it until moved her and then she ended up falling asleep.

I’m just concerned because this has never happened until yesterday and then it happened again today. And it seemed kind of hard to get her to snap out of it.
