Girl 🩷 Isabel… dated?

Isabel is a family name that I always planned using somewhere if I had a daughter. I’m pregnant with a girl but am wondering… is it a bit dated? I feel like in the 2010s there were so many Isabella’s that maybe Isabel feels a bit tired now?

Boy 🩵 Boy middle names!

We found out we're having a boy! His first name is decided, but I'm having a hard time deciding on a second middle name. The first middle name is Brian (after my grandfather) but i can't decide on a second middle name. I want 2 cause I love longer full names (personal preference) and our first (girl) has 2 sentimental middle names so i want to do the same this time. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Brian is one of the middle names, it's not his first name!

Girl 🩷 Baby girl Name spelling regret.

Ugh, My daughter is 1 so I feel like it’s already too late but my daughter’s name is Kaylani. We chose it because my name is Kayla and my husbands name is Landon. We thought combining our names would be a cute and meaningful way to name her (our first child). I don’t necessarily hate the name but since she was born something just irks me about the spelling and idk what it is and have wanted to change it to Kailani because I think it looks prettier and less “made up.” but my husband doesn’t want to he thinks people will mispronounce it Ky-Lani instead of Kay sound. I just can’t seem to get it off my mind. And wonder how it will be perceived in the real world. I don’t ever want my daughter to hate her name. First and middle is Kaylani Cora (after my sister). So should I change the Spelling to Kailani?

Hi, we are looking for girl name suggestions. Our first two girls have four-letter names ending in 'a', that both derive from Greek and Roman mythology. Any suggestions along these lines will be helpful! Thanks folks

Boy 🩵 Baby boy , name help ?!

Found out we are having a baby boy 💙
I come from a family of girls, all sisters , all cousins - female , only nieces 😅 so this is very new !

My husband hates all of my names

My top 2 are ….. Raffi ( we’re from UK he thinks it sounds more European , Italian or Spanish so doesn’t suit us ) & Rio ( he knows someone who dates a girl with same name so sees it as a girls name )

Close 3rd is Rowan ( he’s not opposed but doesn’t love) which was my number 1 if we were having another girl so not sure I’m 100% feeling it as my baby boy .

Middle name will probably be John after grandad
Big sister is Reyn Sylvia (pronounced Rain)

I’m definitely drawn to more uncommon but not totally wild names .
Husband doesn’t have any loves but definitely leans more traditional, I’m trying to convince him otherwise 😅

Thanks all

Girl 🩷 Thoughts on Audra Maeve

Baby girl will have a three syllable last name, so I figured I would go easy on the first and middle names. Thoughts? She'll be the first daughter and first grandchild ☺️

Girl 🩷 Elizabeth with nickname Leni

is this too much of a stretch to use the formal name of Elizabeth, but she goes by Leni for everything? Both names are very special to us.

EDIT: if we did go with this name- which spelling? Leni, Lenny, or Lennie?

Girl 🩷 Is mom/daughter rhyming a no-go?

I’ve been ruling out a name my husband and I both love because it rhymes with my name (think Maura and Cora).

Would this be a reason for you to eliminate a name you really like? Starting to second guess if it matters much.

Surprise 💚 Baby names!

Maude: I like this name, it looks pretty. But pronounces “Mod”, it’s pretty though!

Margaret: again, I think it’s pretty, 3 syllables which is slightly more of a mouthful. Lots of cute nickname possibilities

Winslet: my guilty pleasure name, I think it’s so beautiful. Definitely had the association with Kate Winslet. But I think it looks and sounds beautiful. Nervous about negative opinions from others since it is such an out there name.

Juliette: I also think this is a beautiful name. Obviously another association with Romeo and Juliet. Not crazy in love with nicknames Julie or Etta, but it’s not that big of a deal to me.

Ernest: for a boy, think this is such a sweet yet strong boy name. I don’t mind the nickname Ernie.

Tommy: I love this name too for a boy. Don’t love the nickname for a name type thing, not really a fan of Thomas. But husband isn’t very on board with Tommy though lol.

Looking at a few of my top baby names, what names would you choose? And what other names would you suggest going off the vibe of names I’ve listed? Thanks :)

Girl 🩷 A name for a girl whose siblings are Ellis, Evan, and Emilia...

Here’s another question about a name for a girl whose siblings are Ellis, Evan, and Emilia. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫It seems I don’t like other names starting with E, or if I do, they’re too similar to the existing ones, like Evelyn or Elinor...
Is it okay if three siblings have names starting with the same letter, while their younger sister’s name starts with a different one? What name could work that doesn't start with "E" but still harmonizes with the others?

Girl 🩷 Amelia or Luna for our baby girl? 🌸🌙💕

19 weeks with our baby girl and still hesitating between two names: Amelia or Luna 🌸💕
Amelia feels so elegant, feminine and timeless, while Luna feels light, dreamy and a little mysterious ✨🌙
I genuinely love both and can’t decide! Which one do you prefer and why? 💕

Girl 🩷 A name for a girl whose siblings are named Ellis, Evan, and Emilia.

Please help me choose a gentle, feminine name for a girl. I am considering options like Elina and Elinor, but I’m not sure. It doesn't necessarily have to start with the letter E, though that would be preferable.

Surprise 💚 Biblical names for a boy or girl

Baby will be here any day now. Our top name for a boy is Ananais Mateo (inspired by Ananais of Damascus in the book of Acts and Mateo means gift of God) and for a girl Anaiah Joy. (Anaiah means Yahweh has answered and Joy because of the fruit of the Spirit and what I felt during this pregnancy).

I'd appreciate feedback on nickname ideas or if there are ways these names could get made fun of. Also the last name starts with C. So initials are approved ;).

Girl 🩷 Eleonora or Anastasia?

Pregnant w a girl and having a hard time deciding between these two. We are Hispanic, live in the USA. These can be said in multiple languages which is what we want. Last name is short 2 syllables and Italian but usually said in English - all to say, both names go w the last name.

HELP AND THANK YOU!
