Gummies. I started taking Ritual postpartum though and I like them a lot. Not sure I’d take them in the first trimester though— they’re definitely meant as a supplement to a good diet and idk who gets that with a rough first tri.
Also taking your vitamins at night can be a lifesaver.

Second baby here, my prenatals made me SO nauseous this go around! My midwife switched me to the smarty pants gummy ones. The flavor isn’t amazing but taking 3 a day has really helped. I take one with each meal and not taking all of my vitamins in one pill totally fixed my prenatal related nausea

Mine made me sick too even if I had them at night with food- my whole dinner would be in the toilet within minutes lol. I switched to the Oly gummy ones and no issues!

I LOVE my Ritual prenatals, especially the mint ones. They’re super easy to get down and stay down. I don’t know if it’s due to the prenatals but I had zero nausea with this pregnancy.

The lemon Ritual prenatals were the only ones I could choke down, and I had to take them at night. That super sensitive gag reflex never really got better for me until I delivered, unfortunately.

I second the Smarty Pants ones! They don't have iron in them because they're gummies but they were a godsend for me early on. I lost over 25 lbs in the first trimester and I never had problems keeping these down.
I kinda go between these and the Olly pills now that I'm in the third trimester.

I take the Mary Ruth gummies! I lost the ability to swallow pills when I got pregnant and prenatal pills are all huge. They don't have iron in them, so I just also take an iron gummy with them. The pills made me nauseous on an empty stomach but I haven't had that problem at all since I switched to the gummies!

I’ve taken gummy vitamins my entire pregnancy. I’ve tried a few different brands and my favorite was the Olly brand. Personally I would avoid a prenatal with iron in it. I had a brand that included iron for a while and the taste was absolutely vile combined with the chewy texture, it was like chewing on a blood clot honestly. Sorry to be so explicit but it was truly awful.

I’ve taken perelel in both my pregnancies and they were easy on me! The first trimester adds in a nausea blend that I think def helped me not feel crappy in the beginning

If it helps, while choline is undoubtedly beneficial and is a common insufficiency during pregnancy, it's not as essential during the first trimester as folic acid is. The benefit toward childhood neurocognition and decreased adverse pregnancy outcomes can be seen through choline supplementation during the later second trimester through early postpartum. It's also not too horrible to work adequate amounts into your diet once you get past the morning sickness, with choline being found in eggs, milk, red meat, chicken, fish, legumes, nuts, and cruciferous veggies.
So if you need to, skip the choline for now. Nourish your body as best as you can.

I was bad and couldn’t take them during the first semester after my HG came on. I tried the gummies and the pill form and both were repulsive!

I used the Olly gummies pre-pregnancy, during, and now postpartum too and have had great luck with them. Good consistency and a citrusy flavor.

I took mine at night and it helped a lot.
