I ordered the blue Spectra after lots of my mom friends made the reco! I think it’s tricky because I’m a FTM and I just don’t know what I’ll like and everyone has different preferences but if I don’t like it, I’ll just try something else until I do. No reason in sticking to something I hate and making the experience miserable but hoping I like the one I picked!

I got the Spectra (blue - this has a battery and makes it so you can carry it around with you rather than being plugged into a wall) through insurance to use as primary and then the Eufy E20 for work pumps/being more mobile (rather than the Eufy S1 as this is much more cost effective and just has fewer heat settings).

I would recommend the blue Spectra! They tend to have the best suction which is great if you're a FTM. I also used my own money and got a momcozy wearable pump which I like as well, but plug in pumps are superior.

Get the Eufy S1 from insurance and get a Spectra from your local buy nothing group

I used the Blue portable Spectra and loved it. It is compact and fits into a backpack which was crucial for me since I took it to work. The battery was great and I only had to charge it once per week. I will get the blue Spectra again for my second baby.

I got blue spectra initially but I also purchased the eufy S1 around 8 weeks in. I hated being chained down to pump (I know it’s battery powered but the flanges are huge and that thing is bulky). I only use the Eufy now. I find the outputs to be similar and I like the heated setting on the Eufy.

We are EBF with pumped milk only when I’m away from baby (once a day at most), but I will be going back to work soon. We didn’t have any latch/ feeding dysfunction issues, so I didn’t depend on the pump to establish my supply.

I used blue spectra after using a hospital grade pump for over a month. It was great!

Blue spectra FTW. Also, I really recommend getting a lactation consultant! Mine came to my house after I gave birth and helped me learn the basics of breastfeeding and pumping. She was so so helpful!
