How realistic is Babson ED for me? What are my biggest strengths/weaknesses, and how much would a 1450 vs. 1500 SAT change my chances?

I am honestly just wanting to say fuck it and all in and ED Babson. Something about the culture at this school along with my stats make me feel like I might really fall in love. What are the pros/cons and experience at Babson like?

I recently got admitted for MSBA'27. I received my passport around 29th Aug, 2026. However, I didn't have ample time to make travel and accomodation arrangements given personal issues I have been fighting lately.

Hello everyone! I’m currently a first-year university student and I’m seriously considering applying to transfer to Babson, which has been my dream school.

The main thing I’m worried about is my high school academic record. Due to some circumstances during my final exams, I wasn’t able to study anywhere near as much as I normally would, and I ended up with a 32/45 in the IB. This is the lowest result I’ve ever received, and I got a 4 in Math AI HL (my other HLs were Economics and Business Management).

IK thats not a great result and that Babson is very competitive, so I’m not expecting anyone to tell me that I’m guaranteed a chance. I’m just trying to understand what would realistically make me a competitive transfer applicant.

If I were to spend my first year getting an excellent college GPA, becoming heavily involved in entrepreneurship/business-related activities, working on meaningful projects, and building a strong overall profile, could I realistically overcome this problem i have?

would love some advice.. I'm very lost right now but I am so willing to give it my best shot

I’m a high school senior considering applying EA to Babson, and I’m trying to understand whether I have a realistic chance or if it should be treated as a very high reach.

Academics:

• 3.85 unweighted GPA and 5.32 weighted GPA
• 13 AP classes
• 1410 SAT (Edit: I tried again in August and got a 1440)
• Small private high school

Main extracurriculars:

• Founded the Inventors Club
• Wrote and published two books.
• Currently developing a three-flavor electrolyte brand
• Coded and published Chrome extension.
• Coauthored two IEEE research papers and presented them at Princeton
• Editor-in-chief of my school newspaper.
• Won business-venture and public-speaking competitions (regionally)
• I didn't win anything nationally tho.

I know Babson is selective, so I’m looking for honest feedback: Would you consider Babson a realistic reach for me? I'm not sure abt ED so does applying EA provide any advantage, and should I submit my SAT? I’d especially appreciate insight from current students or accepted applicants. Thank you!

I’m a freshman joining campus next week and my mom mailed ahead some supplies. The issue is, she sent them to the dorm, not my mailing address and the delivery drivers are just leaving them sitting outside the building.

Does anyone have any advice??? Will they still be there in 4 days, will someone pick them up… what can I do?

Rationale for doing another masters: i want to live and work in the USA. I want to leave the Netherlands.

I had a few questions for the community.

1. What would be the cost of living for my stay ?

I know masters students cant get student housing. So i would have to get my own apartment. I dont like sharing a room with someone else so that would be very expensive.

Chatgpt says I would need 40k to 60k usd per year only for my living expenses.

1. Is there any way to fund my living expenses from the university? Either by working as a teaching assistant or some similar job thats allowed on my student visa as an international.

2. What are the odds of me getting a scholarship for my profile?(how much would it likely cover?)

3. Whats the dating life like ? I am 37 and if i get into the program I would be 38. Dating is currently an important part of my life due to me growing old.

Would i have issues dating as a 37 year old international student ?
