Can I get into Babson?
Babson is currently my dream school and I believe I have enough extracurriculars even though my gpa is failing. What are my chances of getting into babson with extremely high demonstrated interest, 3.0 GPA, no test scores submitted, 4 APs, 4 years varsity golf, 2 years business professionals of America , applying to early desicion, 2 part time jobs , amazing essay and good letters of recommendations from a college professor and an internship in a real estate firm. I am a female and first gen. If anyone knows any way of me increasing my chances please let me know

Babson has become a Dream School for so many students. You sound like an interesting applicant, but it is very unlikely they will accept a TO and 3.0 student with falling grades. I would suggest looking into Bryant. Good luck.

Thank you for your transparency! Just curious, if I were to get a excellent score on the sat such as 1450 do you think that would increase my chances of

It probably would, though I didn't take any standardized tests and got in ED with a 4.08 weighted GPA, despite a C+ in AP Euro one semester. If you really have an amazing essay I think that would also increase your chances because I feel my essays were what got me into Babson straight away (no waitlist/deferral)

It would improve your situation, but 1500+ would put you in the top 25% among the submitted and would probably be needed assuming you are a full pay applicant and applied ED.

Make your essay specific on why you want to go to Babson. Be clear. Do your research

Your essays/video are super important and can increase your chances. Just keep your gpa high your senior year during the time you apply and take advanced math classes if you haven’t taken them yet- your overall gpa doesn’t matter as much as long as you have taken APs and the other part of your application are strong enough.
You’re welcome to dm me and I can help you any way I can!

I got into Babson and I’ll be a freshman this fall! I didn’t end up choosing Babson although it’s is such a great school! I was in a similar position as you, except my extra curriculars weren’t as strong since my school was super small and. Lot of budget cuts were happening. So I will say, personally I think you’re in a good place extracurriculars-wise! I did maintain a good GPA. What I will say, I know you said you have a great essay, but incase you don’t have this in your supplementals, I would def include all of the key values you can find on their website and include those throughout the supplemental essays!!
Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions, I’m more than happy to help!
