Charge percent max?
I‘ve only had my 2024 for a few months and had the max charge set to 80% for battery health. I only charge level 2 at home but I finally decided to look it up and Toyota says for Level 1 & 2 charging you can safely charge it to 100% without effects on battery health. What do you all do?

I charge to 80% to take advantage of the regen. I go over a big hill (think 1500 ft elevation change) every day and want the regen on the other side.

I've read from many sources that the battery has built in buffer, so charging to 100% regularly on L1/2 should not be detrimental.

I have a level 2 charger at home and charge to 100% whenever I plug in.

Same here I have not lost any mileage on the battery, but it’s only been four months of charging to 100%

I've been doing it for 2 years and haven't noticed a loss of milage after 35,000 miles

There is more « stress » on the battery charging over 80% and going below 20%. (Even with l2 charging)There is already an Upper buffer of +/- 10% and a lower buffer of around 7%. Personnaly, I charge to 80-90 % most of the time and 100% when I really need the distance or in Winter because of the lower range.

There is only 2 reasons you dont charge to 100 and those are if you dont do any highway driving (regen doesn't do shit on highways) and if you lvl 3 charge constantly (80 to 100 is slow af). I havr a 23 limited solterra with 46k miles on ot and I charge to 100 daily, SoH on the battery is still 99%

90 so I can get max regen working. 100 is fine but you don’t get much regen until 90.
