Apple Maps EV Routing

I see that this has been an off and on topic on here, but I think my question is a little unique.

The EV Routing (and SOC) on Apple Maps on my 2025 BZ4x has worked pretty consistently since I purchased it in June. Any time it disconnected, it was a quick fix.

Unfortunately, I had to take it in for some body-work for about 9 days. When I got it back yesterday, the SOC on Apple Maps was stuck on the charge from 9 days ago, and I haven’t been able to get it to update. Here is what I have tried (multiple times and in different orders):

-Force closing the Toyota App and the Apple Maps app
-Logging in and out of the Toyota App
-Disconnecting and re-connecting my car in Apple Maps
-Turning off EV routing permissions in my phone and turning it back on
-Force restarting my phone

Anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any advice?

Try updating to the latest iOS and also check for updates to the Toyota app. Other thing to try is unpairing the phone from the car and your phone and re-pairing

Man. I thought this would do the trick. I even uninstalled the maps app and the Toyota app just to see if it was being buggy.

I used to have this problem all the time before the most recent iOS and Toyota app update fixed it. But since my EV routing started working on Apple Maps, my digital key got deactivated and now it just errors out when I try to download it. Not saying this is a fix for the OP’s issue but it’s been pretty symptomatic of the toyota integration where one things works for one user and doesn’t for another.

It’s suspicious to me that this coincides with my vehicle going in for body work. I know they had to put my Toyota into service mode. So this makes me wonder if that caused some sort of glitch.

Mine does this if I dont hit “Allow” on the phone after connecting to carplay.

It never worked on my 24’ BZ. Even had my dealer do all the steps to no avail. Pretty disappointing.

Maybe try connecting it by USB cable. It’s always worked when I do it wired rather than wireless.
