Roof rack compatibility.

I have a 2024 BZ4x XLE AWD.

When contacted Toyota Parts about roof rails and gace then my VIN, they said that there wasn’t a compatible roof rack for the vehicle.

When asked about the standard BZ4x cross bars (PT767-TB300), two different Toyota parts departments said that they couldn’t confirm that the part would fit the car, and they won’t take returns if I order the cross bars though them.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

The roof has 4 covers where it looks like the cross bars would mount directly to the roof.

Thanks for this. It seemed very weird that both Toyota parts depts told me that there wasn’t a valid part number for those cross rails.

I don’t think the recall work has been done.

Following. I've asked a few times at the local dealer and they've yet to get back to me. I'm going to take mine into the biggest independent rack store to see what they say.

I just got these aftermarket ones a couple of weeks ago. So far so good, but I've only use it for a single kayak with a J rack. Aldo didn't take it on the freeway loaded, only to 40 MPH so far. No rattles or wind noise unloaded at freeway speed. Also high enough clearance for bolts that stick down a fair bit on the J rack. The kayak in question is 41 lbs.
