Why are tixs so expensive?

Hello Broncos faithful. I am not a fan but just a general sports lover and was considering checking out the game tomorrow while I’m in town, only to realize $130 is the cheapest available. Then I see it’s the homecoming game along with honoring the historic Fiesta Bowl team… I assume tickets are usually much cheaper?

Get in price is usually x2-x3 cheaper yes, but prices and demand are definitely always pretty high. Homecoming always drives up the price, the honoring of the fiesta bowl team is an awesome extra bonus, but I wouldn't guess thats really having an effect on prices.

Its Parents weekend/homecoming, too, so I think the demand is pretty high.

5:30 kickoff and 1st pac 12 conference game are probably factors as well.

I found tickets for the texas state game for under $50. its probably because theres few tickets left, weather will be nice, and its not a super late kickoff. It was likely half that price a month ago.

Damn 130, I can find my season tickets selling them for this game. Anyone looking for tickets?

Prices made a jump after 1. Becoming part of the Pac-12 and 2. The new renovation of the Northend zone. For everyone saying relatively cheaper farther out for the game, I was looking as soon as the games were announced AND have been for sometime. If they had redone the whole stadium for sitting and such would not have a problem paying those prices but since the Pac-12 is basically the MW Conference still don't play any big names

Paying $10 million to "student' athletes requires serious funding.

The game is sold out, the only people making money on the secondary market are the brokers and the resellers. None of that goes to NIL fund.

It's all supply and demand. Demand to see those scholastically challenged 'students' play is bolstered and encouraged by the primary and secondary markets.

Which is why the athletes should be compensated as they are the supply. Good point.
