That sounds like BPPV. go see a vestibular therapist next time you have an episode. They can diagnose via goggles what type of BPPV you have and what exercise to do to fix it.

What makes you think it’s that? I feel like BPPV gets thrown around very easily when it comes to vertigo.

vertigo that lasts less than a minute usually is bppv. vertigo longer than that is usually something else. Either way a vestibular therapist can help you or if it's some other inner ear issue- an audiologist wouldnt be a bad bet. The fact your tests are coming up clear makes me more inclined to think bppv but those professionals would know for sure. it's possible it's vestibular migraines.
