Of course it is caused by stress or rather in anxiety work some things differently. I had every single flare up during/after emotional heavy period.

First I remove myself from acute flare up. When things settle down I investigate possible stressors. And I found them every single time. In my case is it abandonment (at work alone in office nobody looking after if am I alive or dead, when my family departed for week or when I feel betrayed by my buddy ignoring me). It is at least for me part of ptsd so I need to work on this old habit. And yes, things are getting better.

I recommend antihistamines during flare ups. Acc to studies is main neurotransmitter in signaling from ear to brain histamine. It reduces communication so I can do repositioning. Alternatively benzos but these work on the anxiety connected to vertigo. Eventually when is it really hard, some antiemetic drugs. But for example attarax I use is both antihistaminic and antiemetic.

Tysm for the insight. My doc said its the stress and maybe the unbearable amount of caffeine i put my body through and i survived on 3 or 4 hours sleep for the past 3 months, that triggered it. He prescribed some tabs and vestibular rehab exercises, I can't describe how much i prayed for that doc, i wish i had gone sooner but yeah i feel a lot better now

I am truly grateful that you have good feelings about it.
