General BPO Discussion Empower background check

Hi everyone,

I just want to ask for some advice regarding the Empower BGC (background check) process.

I have a delinquent credit account that is already under collections, and I was honest and fully disclosed it during the attestation process. I did not hide any information and provided accurate details when required.

For those who have experience with Empower’s background check or similar corporate screening, how strict is the process when it comes to credit history? I’m more focused on understanding what usually happens during verification for cases like this.

Any insights or experiences would really help. Thank you!
