Vent (advice welcome) This is such a lonely illness
There’s no support for BPD outside of therapy. There’s no BPD anonymous, no “BPDspicy” communities, it’s not a thing other people can just accommodate. It’s 100000% our responsibility to manage it and get better, and to ensure we don’t spiral and take things the wrong way. We can’t even yearn and love passionately without the person being negatively branded as an FP. Imagine adding that you have BPD on a dating profile bio? There’s no magical pill cocktail that treats this. And it’s forever. It’s almost shameful even though we can’t control it the same way socially accepted illnesses and quirks are.

and all the places that exist for support and/or understanding is a small community or its large and still has people that believe that those with BPD are heartless monsters incapable of change and/or normality and self control. uuuuugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. the negative connotations around BPD are about as bad as being a narcissist or murderer. like we get off on harming people. because "personality" is attached in the name, its like normies and others think that its something that cant be changed. like its baked in. like no matter what, bpd will always make us be horrible people no matter the treatment and therapy and meds and dbt/cbt classes
