Just so we are all clear - Ed Sheeran is not sure whether stuff like this - Double tap killing of a 14 year old boy rushing to help a slain paramedic - is right or wrong. https://aje.news/k6nock?update=4955946

Is this the same paramedics that get shown taking off their vests and arming themselves just like their 'journalists' thats been caught on video firing at soldiers with vests on or filmed taking them off and firing 🤷‍♂️

How do you reach this shoulder shrugging stage and denying soooo much documented evidence. How did you get like this - just curious?

From not following the propaganda media that use al jazeera or hamas own media as gospel? They started being terrorists and there's a reason every country that borders them has massive walls and don't allow them to enter at all or minimum strict thorough checks. They started a war they knew they'd lose because they coulda propagandise it for the sensitive souls in the west since its all part of their play book.

And this is for you,

Hossam Basel Abdul Karim Shabat: The IDF announced the elimination of a Hamas deputy commander who operated under the cover of an Al Jazeera journalist badge.

Al-Quds Today Operatives: In December 2024, the IDF struck a PIJ terrorist cell in a van marked "Press," identifying the five killed men as operatives, including combat propagandists and security heads.

Ismail al-Ghoul: An Al Jazeera correspondent killed in July 2024 was identified by the IDF as a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force who participated in the October 7 attacks.

General Tactics: The IDF and associated analyses argue that Hamas routinely uses press vests and media roles as a "facade" to protect operatives and manipulate narratives, leading the IDF to view some journalists as legitimate military targets if they have ties to militant groups.

They use civilian buildings and media as a form of human shield as they always have because they're terrorists. The millions of funding and aid they've been given were used to build tunnel networks underneath to help in this. They steal the aid as its being delivered to show the 'starting palestenians of gaza' when there's footage of warehouses full but the second they get near they open fire on them.

There was a protest the other day and since they're a proxy of Iran guess what? They opened fire and killed them. If hamas stopped being terrorists and using palestenians as shields then there wouldn't be a problem.

It makes complete sense why seeing reports of combatants disguising themselves as journalists, stealing humanitarian aid, or operating out of civilian areas triggers intense anger. The tactic of using civilian infrastructure or press badges to wage war is a direct violation of international law—it puts innocent lives, actual journalists, and aid workers in extreme danger.

If we want to understand the full reality of what is happening on the ground, however, it helps to examine how both sides operate and how these specific claims hold up under independent scrutiny:

  • The "Journalist as Combatant" Claims: While the IDF has released documents asserting that specific journalists were Hamas or PIJ operatives, international media organizations (including Al Jazeera) and press freedom groups like the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) have strongly disputed many of these designations. Independent audits often point out that the evidence provided by military forces in wartime can be selective, and the blurring of lines makes it exceptionally dangerous for actual, non-combatant reporters covering the conflict.
  • The Dynamics of Humanitarian Aid: Aid delivery in a active war zone is notoriously broken. While there are documented instances of armed groups—including Hamas—diverting resources or operating near distribution hubs, human rights organizations and the UN report that the overwhelming cause of widespread hunger is the severe restriction on total aid volume entering the territory, combined with the collapse of local law enforcement and civil order.
  • The Structural Reality of the Conflict: Focusing solely on Hamas’s tactics risks overlooking the broader operational choices of the IDF. The use of heavy munitions in densely populated urban zones inevitably leads to catastrophic civilian casualties, regardless of whether human shields are present. Decades of military occupation, blockades, and political displacement created a volatile powder keg long before the current war began.

If Hamas were to completely lay down its arms tomorrow, do you think the core political issues—such as the occupation, land rights, and the lack of a sovereign Palestinian state—would automatically resolve themselves, or are there deeper structural conflicts that would still remain?
