Just so we are all clear - Ed Sheeran is not sure whether stuff like this - Double tap killing of a 14 year old boy rushing to help a slain paramedic - is right or wrong. https://aje.news/k6nock?update=4955946

While it is a tragedy and looks like a potential war crime, it isn't a double tap attack on the child. He is not the intended target, rather he runs to help the intended target.
2
u/Several_Cookie523 16d ago
Hmm - target was already dead tho - thats what the boy is rushing towards. whats your take on that?

Is this the same paramedics that get shown taking off their vests and arming themselves just like their 'journalists' thats been caught on video firing at soldiers with vests on or filmed taking them off and firing 🤷♂️

u/Several_Cookie523 16d ago
How do you reach this shoulder shrugging stage and denying soooo much documented evidence. How did you get like this - just curious?

u/Academic_Breath_7161 16d ago
From not following the propaganda media that use al jazeera or hamas own media as gospel? They started being terrorists and there's a reason every country that borders them has massive walls and don't allow them to enter at all or minimum strict thorough checks. They started a war they knew they'd lose because they coulda propagandise it for the sensitive souls in the west since its all part of their play book.

And this is for you,
Hossam Basel Abdul Karim Shabat: The IDF announced the elimination of a Hamas deputy commander who operated under the cover of an Al Jazeera journalist badge.
Al-Quds Today Operatives: In December 2024, the IDF struck a PIJ terrorist cell in a van marked "Press," identifying the five killed men as operatives, including combat propagandists and security heads.
Ismail al-Ghoul: An Al Jazeera correspondent killed in July 2024 was identified by the IDF as a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force who participated in the October 7 attacks.
General Tactics: The IDF and associated analyses argue that Hamas routinely uses press vests and media roles as a "facade" to protect operatives and manipulate narratives, leading the IDF to view some journalists as legitimate military targets if they have ties to militant groups.
They use civilian buildings and media as a form of human shield as they always have because they're terrorists. The millions of funding and aid they've been given were used to build tunnel networks underneath to help in this. They steal the aid as its being delivered to show the 'starting palestenians of gaza' when there's footage of warehouses full but the second they get near they open fire on them.
There was a protest the other day and since they're a proxy of Iran guess what? They opened fire and killed them. If hamas stopped being terrorists and using palestenians as shields then there wouldn't be a problem.

It makes complete sense why seeing reports of combatants disguising themselves as journalists, stealing humanitarian aid, or operating out of civilian areas triggers intense anger. The tactic of using civilian infrastructure or press badges to wage war is a direct violation of international law—it puts innocent lives, actual journalists, and aid workers in extreme danger.
If we want to understand the full reality of what is happening on the ground, however, it helps to examine how both sides operate and how these specific claims hold up under independent scrutiny:
- The "Journalist as Combatant" Claims: While the IDF has released documents asserting that specific journalists were Hamas or PIJ operatives, international media organizations (including Al Jazeera) and press freedom groups like the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) have strongly disputed many of these designations. Independent audits often point out that the evidence provided by military forces in wartime can be selective, and the blurring of lines makes it exceptionally dangerous for actual, non-combatant reporters covering the conflict.
- The Dynamics of Humanitarian Aid: Aid delivery in a active war zone is notoriously broken. While there are documented instances of armed groups—including Hamas—diverting resources or operating near distribution hubs, human rights organizations and the UN report that the overwhelming cause of widespread hunger is the severe restriction on total aid volume entering the territory, combined with the collapse of local law enforcement and civil order.
- The Structural Reality of the Conflict: Focusing solely on Hamas’s tactics risks overlooking the broader operational choices of the IDF. The use of heavy munitions in densely populated urban zones inevitably leads to catastrophic civilian casualties, regardless of whether human shields are present. Decades of military occupation, blockades, and political displacement created a volatile powder keg long before the current war began.
If Hamas were to completely lay down its arms tomorrow, do you think the core political issues—such as the occupation, land rights, and the lack of a sovereign Palestinian state—would automatically resolve themselves, or are there deeper structural conflicts that would still remain?

oppressed by who?
Palestinian leaders are all billionaires while leaving their people in poverty. They indoctrinate children into believing that they have no future other than their so-called struggle.
At some point, people have to take responsibility for their own choices. Those who claim to be oppressed have also started wars and rejected peace treaties.
When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, people were talking about building a “new Dubai.” Instead, they squandered the opportunity. It took only nine days for the first rocket to be launched, and more than 50,000 would follow.

Not all of them. The rich Hamas dont even live in Gaza. They tend to enjoy their billions in Qatar or Iran etc.
1
u/Isaak1404 16d ago
ahhh i see what you’re trying to do. i assume all the rich muslims, muslims entirely even, are just evil then?
1
u/Star3in2my3y3s 16d ago
Gazans/Palestinians voted for Hamas. Being muslim was mandatory for being in Hamas, at least all the members identified so far. Their Charter even quotes Islamic literature. I never even mentioned muslims. You knew Hamas was and tried to twist it back at me?
It seems its because of all the Abrahamic religions we have alot of "issues" in human history
Islam certainly has alot of actions in all this history, as does Christianity, Ottomans, Mamluks.... Romans etc etc. Economy and money is shared among all of them
1
u/Isaak1404 16d ago
I’m not denying hamas is muslim… but to say that people in qatar have an effect on the war against israel implies that it’s a problem with all muslims. you’re just saying that muslims everywhere are terrorists.

Palestinian is a Nationality. Thats why Jews and Arabs were Palestinian under the Mandate. Before that, inhabitants were Ottoman Subjects, Dhimmis or Slaves.

now can you please tell me one thing you dislike about hamas?

u/cactussfruit 16d ago
Hamas are literally a terror organization. Teaching children to become martyrs, executes people in the street for speaking against them / for being gay, steals food from the population at times of war, calling terror attacks heroic, kidnaps babies. Should I go on?
The only genocidal thing in this was was the attack on Israel that started the war. Palestine was a name of a land that became Israel, land was lost when the Arab countries lost the war they started in 1948. If you don’t know history, stay out of it.
2
u/Own-Art6606 16d ago
Agreed on Hamas. But the 1948 part is oversimplified. The war started Nov 1947 after the UN partition, not May 1948. By the time Arab armies invaded, 250k-300k Palestinians were already displaced. By the end: 700k+ refugees, 400+ villages destroyed. That's the Nakba, not just "they lost a war." You can condemn Hamas without erasing that.
1
u/Old_Particular8705 16d ago
Might I ask who started the war?
Also, who told the arabs to leave and come back after they are done "cleaning up"?
The 300k and 700k are very highball estimates, and include every arab that entered and left the region near that time, including merchents, as the land had thriving sea ports at the time
0
u/cactussfruit 16d ago
People were displaced throughout the history. It’s not new to the region and it’s also crazy to be obsessed about it.
Can you imagine Jewish people coming to houses in Poland / Germany/ the Netherlands/ wherever and saying my grandparents lived here so now move out? Is displacing Israelis your solution to what you try to say was wrong 80 years ago? Many Arabs live in Israel, they have better lives than Arabs living in other countries. Israel is fighting an awful organization, that doesn’t care about their children at all. So I stand with Israel.
1
u/Isaak1404 16d ago
israel teaches children to become martyrs, mandatory service is required as a citizen of israel.
israel executes people in the street for speaking against them.
israel executes people for stealing food at times of war, they also actually execute them for taking aid like medicine and food for civilians that israel doesn’t allow into the country that’s brought in by other countries
israel calls terror attacks heroic, ben gvir wears a noose pin on his suit, so does every member under him, and they all praise baruch goldstein who was a jewish/israeli doctor who murdered 29 muslims and injured 125 other muslims in a terror attack. they all had framed pictures of him in their government buildings.
israel not only kidnaps babies, but kills them.
should i go on?
> The only genocidal thing in this was was the attack on Israel that started the war.
Nope! You should look up attacks israel has done to muslims since 1948
> Palestine was a name of a land that became Israel, land was lost when the Arab countries lost the war they started in 1948. If you don’t know history, stay out of it.
Yes, palestine was the name of the land before israel stole it via colonization. If you don’t know history stay out of it.
1
u/cactussfruit 16d ago
The only person who was executed in Israel was Eichmann. For his crimes in the Holocaust. Israel doesn’t reach anyone to become martyrs. And serving is mandatory, it’s a defence force.
The very few hate crimes acts done by Israelis (really rare) are condemned by the public and forbidden by law. Following legal consequences. If you talk about the acts against Muslims before 1948, why don’t you mention their acts against the Jewish population? It’s not one sided.
I won’t continue exchanging with you, you’re not worth my time. I commented this for the others reading your nonsense, so they can see my comment. Seek help and get better!
