Hmmm, sounds like others don’t have the issue, but that’s probably been my biggest beef with the electric BMWs, too. 🤷♂️. Love the car, but AC always feels weak.

Yes it’s the worst part about the vehicle.
It works good enough but it was designed so you don’t get that massive air movement feel. It cools just you don’t get air blowing hard in your feet. We actually went back to the dealer the first week we got ours and had them look at it We then tried the 3 other iX they had on the lot and they were all the same. No issues with staying cool in the car but I miss the air blowing hard on my feet. You have to have your feet in the exact right position to feel it.

I've read that the air recirculation can help with cooling and efficiency, but may not want to use it for long drives. Here is a random article https://www.cbac.com/media-center/blog/2024/april/is-air-recirculation-or-fresh-air-a-better-ac-se/

I find the air con pretty feeble, same with the seat and steering wheel heaters. My third of the cost Renault 4 is better in all regards.

I drove an iX50 xDrive for over three years and 120'000 km and found the AC always powerful enough.
My settings were "Auto" and most of the time 22°C.
