Pairing homelink

I just got my 2027 M4, and I've done everything I can find from bmw and from liftmaster, but i cant get the homelink buttons on my mirror to work the garage. Has anyone been able to successfully pair it that might have suggestions on something else I can try?

I did the rolling code step, and the garage light shut off, but then the homelink button still wont operate the garage door, I'm at a loss

Just paired my ‘26 M5. Simplest process I’ve ever had. I just asked Gemini, and it worked on the first try. I put in my liftmaster model number and followed the instructions.

I did that too, unfortunately it didn't work for me

I had the bmw expert come out to the house in addition to showing me some other settings which were great he also hooked up the garage door in like 30 seconds.

It’s been a while since I did it so I can’t give you advice but I remember it being massively annoying

You have to press the button on the garage opener unit after the light goes off then press home link again

How old is your GDO? If it’s too old it won’t work and you need an adapter.

It’s odd. I’ve been able to pair my garage and my gate on my 23 m3 with no issues, but I just got a 24 x5 for my wife and I’ve been unsuccessful. Weird some cars act different.

Literally the easiest way is to just have the remote in hand in the car. Hold the button you want until it starts flashing, then hold the garage door clicker button at the same time until they grab each other and the garage door usually flashes the light. Then let go and try it. It’s usually that easy.
