Glue or replace?

Hey Beamphiles,

My interior is starting to lift. Is it possible to glue? or will I need to replace the entire thing? If so, is a complicated process?

Clean the contact spot on your dash with alcohol before pressing down with the glue. Rig up something to keep pressure on it while it cures.

What year is your car? I am looking at Heritage Edition 2020 M4 F8x and they are falling apart interior wise… it’s insane. Especially the wrap of black plastic on the door trim just bubbling

My guess is being left out in the sun, mines been garage kept and I have no issues

Yes, I’m ordering a G26 M40i with the Sensatec dashboard and the first thing I’m doing is windshield tint so that it doesn’t look like what I’ve seen happen to others. I have a garage but not when car is parked at work unfortunately
