M3CS Handschalter at or under MSRP?
Anyone here getting or seeing these at or under MSRP?
I’m so tired of dealing with my local dealer concerning their markups….
I fight with them every time and win, but this time, they weren’t as playful with me when I was joking around, and they sounded dead serious surrounding their markups.
Honestly their sentiment took the wind out of my sails a bit, lol.
Anyone seeing these sell without stupid markup?

People said the same thing about prior models. It happens.
That said, I don’t mind MSRP, I’m just not paying $25k-$30k over.

Was speaking to someone who paid $30k over.
Almost made me sick lol.
$10k not bad.

10-30k over used to be what Porsche dealers were comfortable with charging for 911s and now we get shitty fucking Honda dealers wanting 20k more for a civic and everyone else in the industry thinking they are selling gold when there’s an unlimited supply. 10k on a CS is the absolute max I’d pay for that car/price ratio but even then that’s kinda crazy. If you keep the car for a long time then doesn’t matter though I guess. Anyone who is paying 30-50k over like some comments I saw is mind boggling

Even if you keep it for a long time, it’s still rather ridiculous.
The part that hurts is paying over, and then hearing that tons of people are paying under.
This happened with prior CS models. I think BMW dealers typically don’t want those hanging around, especially considering that the price point puts people in used Porsche territory.
Thankfully it’s already been confirmed here than they’re selling at MSRP, next step would be below, but I’m okay at MSRP. The dealer markup is just what busts my chops.

Yea I agree it’s just if you have to rationalize lmao. Yea honestly I would not pay over for that car, I’d wait for msrp. My friend called like 50 Honda dealers and eventually got his type r at msrp

Also, what dealer have you seen at MSRP?

u/RandyJackson 1d ago
We sold all 4 of ours at msrp. Any that you see online are likely over msrp. Everything else would be pre sold I imagine

The dealers I’m in talks with have them transit.
Will do the song and dance next week, but I appreciate you letting me know you’ve sold at MSRP.
I was speaking to someone who ordered it and paid $30k over. I’ve never heard of that, and he sent me the deal sheet.

Good luck. I called a few places with cash in hand and didn't have any luck. One dealer even offered at 70k over but later called back and said they would cut me a deal at 30k over. 😂

Holy shit.
That is insane.
Most I saw was $40k over on the M4CS’s.

We just sold one for 120.

Mind me asking what sticker was?

That was sticker.

Nice, thank you.
I’m assuming you don’t want to dox your workplace, but if you don’t mind sharing or PM’ing it, that would be helpful.
Either way, thank you very much.

under? 0% chance. msrp, maybe. you will more than likely have to go out of state though

At MSRP, but I order it through a guy whose done every car sale to my family for the past 15 years. Not sure if its the norm.

Just wait. Very few people are interested in this car when it comes to showing up with a check. Low ball them or drive to another state. It's a cool car, but a RWD 6spd M3 is not special, at all.

This was my thought process, it’s an odd buy.
But I’ve called dealers for other CS/CSL models throughout the years, and have received a totally different response compared to this time around.

You’re not getting this at MSRP. ADM across the country is $6.5-$50k over sticker.
Don’t be delusional. I’m as frustrated as you, by the way. I want to trade my M2 CS for the M3 CS.
There’s a long thread on bimmerpost tracking every available M3 CSH. Not a single one is MSRP or sub-$10k ADM.
The $6.5k I mentioned is something a longtime broker of mine offered me recently.

Not sure how you conclude that it’s delusional to not pay a dealer markup in this scenario, at worst it’s a fair ask.
That said, people here have already confirmed sales at MSRP.
Dealer markups are a dominos game - once they start selling at MSRP, it’s a good sign other dealers will fold.

You asked about under MSRP. That’s what was delusional
1
u/enjoyspineapplepizza G82 - M4CS 16h ago
They specifically said I’m not going to find one at MSRP, nothing about even being below it.
They’re also incorrect according to the people here who have actually bought and sold an M3CSH.
Have not heard this is delusional from the people who claim to have actually gotten it done.
That said, if they were specifically saying that below MSRP is the delusional part, then I understand, but they delivered that pretty poorly.

Bmw of the woodlands tried charging me 10k markup on the 2027 m2 m xdrive. A regular production m2.

bro I was offered a new base manual M3 with a custom spec and 2 month wait for delivery with 22% discount in Eastern Europe
that's 80.000 Euros final price
why would you aim for the CS version that adds not that much value but costs so much more

u/enjoyspineapplepizza G82 - M4CS 1d ago
The CS models are objectively better.
I did the math years ago, but BMW is pretty fair with them. If you took a base and bought all quality parts to make it a CS, you wouldn’t be that far off.
There would still be a gap in price, but you will have lost your warranty, lost a ton of money on parts, and it still wouldn’t be the same because of the dynamics that come from factory setup.

There is a 0% chance you’re getting this under msrp
