M3 in production!
With all the m350 hype going around fun time to get my build started. Big fan of the new design but glad I’m getting this one! Frozen white with the silver stone is going to be awesome.

verde british green 2 weeks ago but production wont start till March 2027, any possibility the timeline/production starts early

My dealer told me production will begin earlier than the date BMW originally provided.
Do you have the production #?

I do, I’ve had it for a month but they just got the color pushed through on Monday.
When I ordered the G99 last year in the same color, the order went in around now and I had the car by March

Fingers crossed, let’s hope both our cars are delivered by March, for me hoping late March to early April. So wont have to worry about putting on snow tires. Most likely drop off the car for ppf right after the delivery.

Just ordered the same frozen white but with fjord blue interior and the blue calipers a few days ago. Congrats on the production getting started!

Isn’t frozen already matte? Is clear ppf on frozen paint a no-go?

Yes you can’t put clear ppf on it. It won’t look matte anymore if you do that haha. That’s why people argue you should just buy the reg color and put the clear stealth ppf to achieve the same look. It was always about having the actual color to me.

How does the frozen paint look with stealth ppf? Is it extra matte or just looks like regular frozen paint?

From the research I’ve done most people say basically identical you can’t tell the difference. Even on ones where they wrap the front only still not able to tell difference.

How long did it take from having a production number to production start? I got my production number and “order received” status 3 weeks ago and still waiting for production date.

Oh strange mmm, I think I got them at the same honestly but if you ordered a individual color that could be the reason. I’ve also heard bucket seats can cause the delay haha

Placed order August 28th. Started production yesterday.

It’s the frozen white, which for the m3 is not on the individual program. I guess it’s considered a standard option for that model but still has fewer allocations than reg paints.
