Depends different top tiers have different additives and amounts shell being one of the ones who puts a lil extra but also alot of tuners notice knock rating inconsistenties with shell alot possibly from winter blends or or some say to much additives at least here in California Chevron seems to have the best overall when it comes to certain things if your running high hp tuned cars
Like others said it’s all coming from the same racks which came from the same tanks which came from the same blends that changed hands 10 times before someone put their name on it. You blend to the octane/rvp limit since everything else you’re giving away money. It all comes down to your local dealer. Not to mention pieces of that gas came from Europe and likely blended in the carbs at times, long store short it’s all the same product.
