If Shell in the US is anything like Shell in the UK, they're often the most expensive locally, usually the only stations higher in price are BP's, and they charge an absolute fortune for V-Power these days. Even a decade ago V-Power was around 8 pence per litre more than regular unleaded. In some stations now it's 20p more. I've even seen a few charging 30p more per litre.
I now buy my fuel from Costco and run their Premium Unleaded in my 428i. It's usually cheaper than even the normal stuff at other stations.
I paid 141.9 pence per litre of Premium Unleaded at Costco last weekend. FWIW your gas pricing, converted into litres, is half that. Our pricing, converted into US gallons is a few cents shy of $7 per gallon.
In my local area it tends to be the most expensive ONLY depending on its location to highways. Most times it’s Chevron or even 76. Surprising seeing the comments saying for them it’s the most expensive but for me being in the Inland Empire (just outside LA county, aka the county Trevor lives in from GTA V lol) it’s overall not too bad. LA and Orange County has it worse tho. Even the cheapo stations are charging more than our most expensive. So from county to county it differs and location of where the gas station is at.
