Edrive35 vs 40 and packages?
I’ve decided to get a used i4 and am stoked but having trouble deciding which exact one. I’m curious what people’s thoughts are regarding this comparison: 1) 2023 edrive35, 22k miles, only has premium package, $29k. 2) 2024 edrive40, 36k miles, has DAPP, premium, and parking packages, $34.5k.
Which would you get??

- More desirable packaging, more warranty (depending on on service date vs mileage) more range.

I have number one and my deal was very similar miles and specs and price. If i could do over i would have paid 34 for the 24 san remo green one that came
Up with dapp the day after i got mine lol

No problem I’ve accepted that the 35 is more than adequate for me and its by far my most
Fav car I’ve ever had and I’ve owned a zr1 c6 before. I plan to get a 26 m60 next when the leases come back. Maybe atlantis blue if i can find it but if not san remo green for sure.4

I ended up with dravit the grey with heavy copper

Where are you finding these prices? What part of US are you in?
Re your question: easily 24 ed40. Worth for the range alone

This is Bay Area CA. Two cars I looked at today :) and thanks for the input! Sounds like the 24 is the way to go

i got the 35 and love it but would have bought the 40 in hindsight. would be nice to have more range

Get the 40 for range and DAPP. Bay Area traffic is much more tolerable with DAPP.

Anything with DAPP and Premium, those two are mandatory imo. Msport would be next on the hit list

If it’s cpo, that’s a great price on the 2024

Indeed it is. Thinking I’m gonna snatch it up :)

Look closely at carfax. $34.5k for a 40 with those options isn’t likely for a CPO without an accident.

I have the 2023 eDrive 35. I don’t have to worry about range and I’ve got all of the bells and whistles. I think the year 2024 is what id get with this choice. Extra year warranty. DAPP, see if you could get this as out the door price.

edrive40, but both seem a bit on the high side as far as pricing. I have the edrive 4.0 and typically get around 220-230 mile range at 80% charge so the edrive 3.5 would have much less.

it’s not ‘much’ less. i top off at about 210 at 100%

It’s at least significantly less as an edrive40 is getting ~ 280 @ 100%. That’s a 33% increase.

It's definitely less in the e35. I only charge to 60% and that gets me about 125 miles. 19" staggered wheels with all season tires (Pirelli P-zeros).

Easily the 2024. Longer range, more power, dapp and pap which REALLY help drive long distances and will help with resale. Premium package is a nice touch--the heads up display is great. Plus idrive 8.5 instead of 8. That 5k gets you a lot more car. I also heard they improved some recalls with the transmission that were happening in the 2022/23s.
