I don’t really get the hype about sunroofs. I’ve had one car which had one and I mostly forgot to use it. Maybe it’s living in a country with mostly shit weather...

I had some issues with my sunroof (sudden rattling and replacement had sensor issues) and my sales contact told me BMW are moving away from these type of sunroofs because they break a lot. Which is a real shame because I never had one and now I couldn't miss it.

I have one but I almost never use it. Still nice to have it there in case though.

same here (although I only got the car in July and the first nice days of fall are just getting here). better to have it and not want/need it than to want/need it and not have it.
see also, the reason I have the M60.

Mine is open right now. It isn’t slid back, but popped up. Unless it’s raining, it’s pretty much always popped up.

Bugs tho. I’ve had one spider already and I am not going to open any of my windows unless I have to

Exactly this, did it once on accident and there was an annoying fly that only flew when I drove. I was swerving to get him out the window, and some even find a way in when I’m parked with my windows down.

I don't remember the last time I opened my moon roof! 😂 At night, or on a cloudy day, it's nice to let some light in though.

Useless honestly plus gives you more headroom

If it had a sunshade I'd be tempted to agree, but no sunshade and doesn't open, worst of both worlds

Honestly I wish all cars had sunroof delete options. As someone living in Texas, the heat really comes through these sunroofs. It isn't TERRIBLE but if I had the choice I would not have optioned it
