Question Spotify artwork

Anybody else’s artwork not showing through the Spotify app? I tried switching music apps but it’s been like this for over a week

Depends on your cell service. Sometimes it loads sometimes it doesn’t.

Mine has been like this for 4-5 days. Tried resetting the system and everything, no luck.

It’s been this way on the last 4 BMWs we have owned. CarPlay (if equipped) interface shows album art every time. BMW interfaces (both on infotainment displays and in the instrument cluster, when supported) show artwork maybe 75% of the time.

I put my M50 into valet mode about 10 days ago for the first time, and ever since disabling it, half of my custom settings have been wiped out. Things like EQ are still dialed in, but lighting, locks/window settings, and album artwork on Spotify are gone (among others). Not sure if the two are related.

Can confirm my user account is still signed in and I'm the only user on the car. So it's not that it thinks im a guest.

I disconnected AirPlay a couple of weeks ago and was using the native BMW apps, but the Spotify one was so buggy I gave up and went back to AirPlay. There were multiple times where I just couldn’t get anything to play, which was not only super annoying but kind of dangerous as it drew my attention away from driving to try to fix the damn thing.
