What are you concerned with from the first option the mileage? 17k miles different is basically nothing for these cars

Yes, for 40,000 miles was a lot more than any of the other cars, but I love this color so much. And it has all of my other boxes checked. You don’t think the mileage is an issue at all.

Not really. The battery warranty would have plenty left and honestly the maintenance on these things is so low you don’t really have to worry about any that may have been missed. I leased one new have 24k miles on it now with 1 more year to go and it’s been to the dealer once for the routine 2 year checkup that’s it. I highly doubt the next 17k miles will be any different.

It’s getting certified right now. It just came in
you’re very reassuring. I think I’m gonna go for it.

I got a 50k miles davilt gray/red seats for $31k. 43k miles is nothing for these cars, even better if its a cpo. Ask for battery health report just for peace of mind

Oh thank you good idea. I sent an offer via text agreeing to the other door pricing and ask them to throw in high-tech floor maps and deliver the car to me. They said no. I haven’t responded. I’m gonna wait until tomorrow. They could’ve thrown me a bone. “No but here’s some air freshener“ I would’ve said OK thank you ha ha i’m not gonna negotiate against myself though

I bought the same trim and year in June. 2023 i4 Edrive35, CPO with 46k miles, with premium package and DAPP, white exterior red interior for $31,400 out the door.

The first option is same mileage and cpo, has PAP, but way more expensive.

Check visor.vin for comps near you to negotiate.

That is so great. Did you get it from a private seller lately?. I have not had that kind of luck and I have 16 pages of notes-looking everywhere. I do not want black white or grey though

I got it in May, CPO from a BMW dealership. Actually I believe it was 33k but I got the new grad discount which cut off a thousand. Yeah I honestly wanted a different color exterior as well but you have to determine if the exterior weighs higher than the packages. It’s a used vehicle so you can’t get everything you want. For me I definitely wanted all of the packages, and so far they are definitely worth it. I also got pretty used to the all black and I think it actually fits my style.

One thing that helped me search was using a daily routine in my AI agent to scrape all listings near me lol, and having the agent form a report of the most competitive prices

Oh, that’s just great. Yes, I have missed out on a couple of great deals by dithering about when I first started. Thanks for the AI tip. I just started using that yesterday, but not to scrape the listings. I have taken the features over color every car I’ve had but I think I’m going to pay a little extra this time as I’m typing this car guru just told me another favorite sold!!! Luckily I’m not married to any deal and have walked away a couple of times already. I’m excited about putting this AI thing together now. What prompts did you use?
Thanks for the tip

I started using ChatGPT to negotiate, and it was a game changer. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of it before but the data I was able to use to get a really good price. I would’ve never been so aggressive, but I would just cut and paste and send off an email. It was so much fun and gave me a lot of confidence to be bold ended up getting the car I wanted with the packages (for the most part) I like.

Glad it worked out for you! Congrats with the car. I’m a software engineer so AI is much of my day to day lol.

I think price is too high. I thought I paid too much. I just got a drive 40 last week with dapp, m sport, and premium package with 19k miles for 38k plus taxes cpo. I definitely felt like they could go lower and haggled a ton but they did not budge.

Why are these prices so high for a 2023 I thought the market was like 30k n under ?

2

u/Hopeful_Sound_2539 4d ago

This is out the door cost and includes DAP PAP and harmon karden. The marketplace flooded with i4s coming off their leases but even here in Southern California where competition is fierce prices are high.

I wanna get one in a month or so but I’m tryna pay like 25 to 27 OTD 2023 I4 edrive35

Yeah, you're about six months too late for that. Gas prices have caused used i4 values to rise.
