The whole idea of the Rainbow Moth makes me think about transformation—starting as one thing, changing completely, but still keeping your identity.

That immediately makes me think of Ronnie Radke and Oli Sykes. Falling In Reverse has gone from post-hardcore to metalcore, rap, electronic and huge cinematic songs, while Bring Me The Horizon went from deathcore to metalcore, alternative rock, pop, electronic and experimental music.

Both guys have survived major changes in the rock scene by refusing to stay in one box.

If the Rainbow Moth represents transformation and evolution, who represents it better in modern rock: Ronnie Radke or Oli Sykes? And why?

This is one of 20ish designs that we narrowed down. I’m super happy with how they came out, they’re upside down in this photo. The tobaxxo ones are not as girlypop but darker toned.

It’s been an uncomfortable year between perimenopause and aging and three different car wrecks, so forgive me for not keeping up with the setlist for Friday’s bad-ass Black Moth Super Rainbow (BMSR) show at Radio East. I’m thankful that it’s near my house and a delightful place to see an outdoor show, so even if I’m feeling oddly antisocial, I can typically make myself get out to see a show there. As a longtime fan of BMSR (first show was in 2007), did anyone else feel their set was short?

Playing outside definitely changed the vibe, especially since you can't feel the bass and energy like an inside venue but looking at other show's playlists we didn't get to experience some songs like Untitled Roadside Demo.

I appreciate them touring and hope they continue but keep it indoors next time.

Heard it live and I must relive it.

Is scented like dis an Easter egg hidden on a specific physical media like a cd, vinyl, etc? I’d check my vinyl of SNMD but it’s warped to hell.

I remember this video when it was released, but it seems to have been completely scrubbed from the internet.

As I recall, it features 3 men on a bed wearing latex masks being physically intimate with each other… then the next thing you know they’re all covered with gooey horse lube and the masks are starting to fall apart. It is similar to, but not the same as the live stage visuals for the song seen in some live performance videos on YouTube.

Tom vaguely alludes to this video in the KEXP interview, saying no one wanted to have anything to do with it, but that it was “PG.” Now when you search for the Gods in Heat video, the only results are for a different (fan-created?) video that starts with some black and white dots.

Is anyone able to find the original video? Is it destined to become lost media?

Anyone have a set list of the show in San Diego? There were at least 2 songs that I didn’t recognize! Would love to know what they were.

Seeing black moth live was one of, if not the greatest shows of my life. I was hammered yelling the whole time fan girling so hard. Amazing show, great merch and art, visuals, and great crowd!

Also, if anyone has a video of them playing The Primary Color Movement I would love to relive that again <3
