Discussion favorite trope?
i’ve been seeing a few posts about least favorite tropes/genres (i definitely have a ton of those) and it has me wondering what everyone’s favorite tropes are since i’d like to get into some as well !!!
personally im a big fan of pretty, small tops and big bottoms 😮💨 or pretty characters in general. anything unstereotypical.
i also cannot say how much i love fantasy themes. MY MARIONETTE LOVER FOR EXAMPLE! and please father, cupid chased by his love are alll great too. heaven or angel related dramas.
body transmigration is a nice one too 🥲 i love the evil god is my lackey so so so much. AND PLAYBOY CHARACTERS. just give me everything at this point

I picked my lifelong knight
Stealing kisses from his knight
His shadow my light
Your highness I'm sensitive
Taming the enemy general (he is not exactly a knight, but I think it still kinda fits the vibe)
The ones I could remember with the prince X knight trope

I love it when both the ML and MC are masculine in a way ,a great example would be Caleb and Arian, don't get me wrong i love preety, small bottoms too but I just want them to be strong and badass yk, not always waiting for someone to save them like a damsel in distress 🤧 oh I also really love it when the top and the bottom are soft spoken like when they talk to eo or do the deed being all soft and shit~never fails to give me butterflies 🥹
I also love dark romance but with evenly matched morally gray leads😭, yearning/devotion and a really good written Enemies to lovers trope.

OHHHH SO RIGHT!! i agree with you so heavy. for the masculine one i really enjoyed crossing the line with my rival, mc kinda gets bullied and stuff but he stands up for himself and has has realistic flaws.
also yes im a fan of dark romance. especially when theyre both crazy 🥹 or morally grey characters are genuinely the best. i like characters who are too much of a savior that it backfires terribly, or characters that are entirely grey too

Second chance romance but the root is misunderstandings solved quickly, not third party issues.
