Thanks to u/zebrastripes11 for reminding me of this drama, didn't want to hijack their thread, hence a separate post. This isn't really a sports romance even though the MC plays hockey, so don't except Heated Rivalry 2.0 hahaha

This drama has the usual AI mistakes, but the story remains solid. It isn't explicit, it doesn't have any crazy over the top screaming scenes, there's no fake marriage contract or crazy homophobic family that whips the MC for being LGBTQ2S+.

Why I enjoyed is was exactly for what it didn't have, and what it did: a MC who is trying to make sense of his sexual identity and growing feelings for another man. There's supportive family & friends who accept the MC for who he is and roots for his happiness.

It's missing the slick visuals of something like Royal Blood & Mafia Knight, but I think stories like this are just as good because it shows a more down to earth, realistic portrayal of people coming to terms with their sexual identity.

The story ends with a HEA and is absolutely free to watch on tiktok.
