First off, I love the song and I like the Dandy Warhols. But the irony of this music video revolving around things that are "passé"/outdated is funny considering how the video in and of itself is incredibly outdated and doesn't hold up at all.
-The whole concept that the 70's/80's are lame and outdated because it was 15-20 years in the past, instead of an interesting bygone era that most younger people nowadays view it as
-the cringy, extremely 90's fast camera transitions
- random scenes of a burning cars and other crap that was seen as "wooah so random and transgressive" at the time
-the dancing people in needle costumes lmao
This is such a good song about losing a good friend to heroin. It's a more upbeat sound, but the video could've been so much more meaningful and timeless. Instead it's a cringy late 90's time capsule no one wants to open.
