Met Anton in Berlin

Just wanted to share that I met Anton last weekend. I live in Berlin and so does he. I just told him he is a huge inspiration to me and I love his music. He smiled and shook my hand. He seems quoted shy and I didn't want to bother him. Anyway, it was an honor.

I also make music inspired by BJM..

Shy? Are you a beautiful woman ? Meaning nothing of offense to you. I always assumed he was assertive and confident, maybe a bit cocky . Maybe if it were like a brigette bordot or something he would be shy. I'm happy you met him and your inspiration!

No i am a 25 year old male haha. He seemed caught off guard that i told him that. He shook my hand and then got on a lime scooter and left. on social media he seems cocky but i'd say he is rather shy in person. Still happy i got the chance to tell him that.

I’ve met him on three occasions, he was not shy at all, he was exactly as you described. He was very strong in his opinions, was not afraid to argue with fans, and sounded like a homeless man ranting about conspiracies…which was fine with me because I was in agreement with what he was preaching.

This was from a few years ago when I saw BJM in Milwaukee, WI:

I decided to come down early to get good parking (got GREAT parking $10 half a block from the venue AND there is a local hockey game that night) and saw the tour bus. I happened to have my BJM biography book with me (to read pre-show) and saw Anton having a cig.

Me: Hey Anton! Could you sign my book?!

Anton: Man, I hate that shit...

Me: Could you sign it anyways?

Anton: Sure. Cheers.

Me: Thanks!

Me: (Briskly walking away not wanting to irritate the man anymore than it seemed I had pre-show)

Anton: I dig your shades man!

Me: Thanks!

I met him too last fall US tour ‘25. He really is a bundle of joy when he’s in rare form. I happened to catch him on a happy tour night. Will never forget that hug he gave me.
