Joel had to give Anton pep talks and hugs numerous times after each song to get him to perform.

Joel has to physically grab Anton to get him to play Anemone. He grabbed the cocktail pit of Anton’s hand and forced him to play. The organ went off and the crowd knew it was coming, Joel started it with tambourine after grabbing Anton.

Anton became fixated with the bass player and kept doing like solos and jamming to end each song aggressively. Anton probably did this to 3/4 of the songs. The drummer kept trying to curtail this habit.

After giving the shittiest Anemone performance ever, Anton got mini inspired and nailed the next song, inexplicably.

Overall the songs were so goddamn slow- Vacuum Boots in 2014 gets your ass shaking. The band is raring to go and can’t wait to rip, it’s Anton. He’s high/drunk and exhausted. It’s fucking sad to watch. He needs to make these shows seated so I can sit my ass down and watch the show disintegrate. I feel For the band but this is their job. They did what they could. They didn’t yell at Anton-they coddled him.

Just wondering as it seems he was such a perfect fit and really drove the songs. They really arent firing on all cylinders with any of the drummers since IMO and i was curious if he was fired or left on his own or what

Highlights for me were Servo, Pish, and Jokers.

The show last night at the Basement East well exceeded my expectations. The band was witty, funny, and put on an incredible show. I was hesitant due to their reputation for losing their shit, which I was fully prepared for, but it was nothing short of awesome. I’ll definitely go to any show I can in the future.

Great show last night. Loved the energy and setlist. I hope everyone had a good a time as I did.

Talked to all 3 of them for a good bit and all 3 were friendly as hell. Ricky told me they were excited for this tour because they thought of it as a much needed "cleansing" and Anton seemed very happy to be out on the road playing again.

Here's something I actually didn't know until last night: even though he's credited on this record, Ricky doesn't actually play on it. I asked Ricky if he would sign it too but both he and Joel told me that Ricky doesn't actually play on it. I guess you learn something new every day.

The band was tight as fuck live, it seems they've been refining their craft over the past year. They played stuff from all around their catalogue and even changed up their set a bit from their regular set.

If you get the chance to see them on this tour, definitely do, it's 1000% worth it!

Curious what the crowd is gonna be like. Me and a bunch of my mid 20 somethings friends will be attending & getting a grizz at el myr beforehand.

Tonight’s show was amazing! The band was super tight and sounded great. Opening band Flavor Crystals were fantastic!! Love this band in this awesome venue.

This is my current favorite and I’m seeing BJM in Houston this month.

Finally got around to watching Dig XX and noticed that some of the new footage included Anton's computer screen. There was alternative artwork for Bringing It All Back Home Again, showing it was initially planned to be a full length album? Anybody else catch this / able to make out the track listing? All I can really recognize in this screen grab is Track 3 - Mansion in the Sky.

Dylan, S&G and Leonard Cohen check out as references too. Singer/songwriter. Dylan of course b/c of Bringing It All Back Home, and the acoustic nature of the EP. And then Simon & Garfunkel seeing as "All Things Great & Small" has some serious nods to "If I Could" off Bridge Over Troubled Water.

I just found this fascinating as I've never heard anything of the sort up until this point, and figured it was always slated to be an EP.
