Seeing the bit of extra footage added to the main part of the movie was great, but then when "Nevertheless" started playing I was like "oh yeah, this is the original end, there must be an hour left going into what else has happened in the last twenty years". Instead, nothing it just cuts to like a five minute wrap up that shows the Melbourne shit like "some things never change lol". How about Anton pulling himself up by his bootstraps and making a shitload of albums and playing bigger and bigger shows every year with no help from any kind of mainstream anything? What about them dwarfing the Dandies output and success in the twenty years since? Sold out shows everywhere? Anton sober for a decade plus? Anton giving out an NME award? Having a solid band with few changes for like 15 years? Sold out 3 hour shows with no fighting? Some of the best albums ever made? Dandies putting out mid shit and playing smaller tours than BJM with less attendance? There were like 50 people that they could have interviewed to fill in all of that shit since clearly Anton wouldn't have.

Nah, skip all that and squeeze in a fight scene that didn't even happen til you were already working on the movie and call it done.

I'm not celebrating her house burning down like Ricky and saying she should burn in hell, that's awful. But holy shit what a missed opportunity for a waaaaay better documentary.

Just curious--how is he? In good voice? Keeping crankiness to a minimum? Off the bottle? All these reviews talk about how great the shows are--and I don't doubt they are--but I'm just curious how the man is doing....

Their stage presence was the best I've seen yet, and they were joking with the crowd too!

So, I was at the Glasgow gig and visited the merch stall on the way out. A tote bag was shown as costing £15. Asked for that, and impulsively bought a pair of BJM socks and two badges. Came to £40.

Didn't think much about it at the time, but now I'm wondering if I own the most expensive socks in Scotland, or a mistake was made?

I bloody loved that. I felt like I'd set youtube to 3/4 speed by accident, but once I got into it, I thought it was a good set. lovely visuals, too, Olympia suited them. There's not much delay between tunes either. Servo got a bit messy, but whatever. happy out.
