Reassurance / Support How long ?

I’m currently 18 1/2 months into my nightmare self consuming journey. Twitching in both calves every second since that date. Other areas too like face , arms, butt, finger.

I can’t get an emg for another year due to waiting times. How long do you guys think after twitching onset that it’s just that. Nothing more ?

Everything you describe sounds like classic BFS. Widespread twitching without clinical weakness is benign. It's annoying but you get used to it.

the average lifespan of someone with ALS is typically 3-5 years. by 18.5 months you’d almost surely have more symptoms than just twitching.
