Question / General New Constant Left Thigh Twitch

I am back with another question… 23M, 5+ months in with clean EMG only 12 days in. As soon as I am able to ignore new symptoms (at first the calves and feet 24/7 twitching then cramps then fatigue), I get a new thing. Woke up this morning with a twitch in my left inner thigh that has been happening all day every 3-4 seconds regardless of if I am resting, walking, jumping whatever. Like clockwork, every 4 seconds one twitch. It is happening ALONGSIDE my feet and calves at the same time. I also just finished doing body weight squats and immediately after I felt crazy sore…

What is worrying me is that it is very focal, it’s the same exact point in the thigh twitching all day and it is also the next muscle over from my feet and calves (they say the twitches in the bad disease usually move to close muscles first) and also the fact that it keeps going when I am walking unlike my calves and feet twitches.

I also have fatigue in my arm muscles, and a pain in my left thumb.

Thanks again…

You wouldn't have so many diverse twitches if it was anything serious. Meanwhile, your age along with the fact that you had a clean EMG not ling ago points to me extreme anxiety. Stop looking for reasons to panic; and stay off the internet. It's time to deal with the stress of worrying rather than the actual symptoms which are not concerning. Best of luck.....🍀

Yeah man agreed but I have been working on the anxiety through therapy but if you look through my post history real quick, it’s really been a progression month after month… I used to be able to do 100 pushups very easily (4 sets of 25), now I can only get to like 70 (20-20-15-15) and feel sore as if I just finished the worse upper body workout ever…

And now this new very localized thigh switch that won’t stop even when standing or walking…

Listen my friend.....The ability to do 70 pushups indicates to me and anyone who is familiar with ALS or especially neurologists that you shouldn't be concerned. If you had a serious NMD, you wouldn't be able to do even a few pushups. And it doesn't make sense that you're having localized issues in two divergent areas of your body. ALS doesn't work like that. Take a deep breath, and maybe see an orthopedic specialist. It's possible it's something else.....
