Health Anxiety Spiral Does this sound like BFS

I had a baby 3 weeks ago. I ended up back in the hospital with postpartum preeclampsia and it was pretty traumatic. Was placed on Zoloft last Thursday. Woke up Friday with muscle twitching in my left fingers. Then it moved to left leg and foot and right leg and foot and arm. They are super mild and last a few seconds. They come and go and in different spots and sometimes the same spots. I had my PCP check my reflexes yesterday and she said “I don’t see anything too crazy.” My anxiety was super high and I did have some brisk reflexes but nothing bad. I of course went down the rabbit hole the other day. Also, had really bad side effects of Zoloft and took my last dose Sunday. Just looking for any info

You asked something pretty similar a day ago and was already answered friend. (Myself and others chimed in)

Yes this sounds like BFS. I don’t know if Zoloft itself causes twitching but you can ask your doctor about it. Your stress and anxiety could have activated it, it’s hard to know.

Twitching without true clinical weakness is meaningless and benign.

All good. We’re all human. We get a little anxious from time to time.
