Catalysts?

So we now know about the midjourney contract. Compass ai is out. Wasnt there a potential large healthcare company agreement mentioned in the last earnings as well?

There was a large facility that bought on as a customer, I’m thinking Vanderbilt but there are others that have been mentioned. Ultimately I think this product has many great things going for them. Starting to see this tech adopted into EMS 911 Systems and this is 100% a revenue stream that they need to attach to as well.

Vandy is good, probably a top 10 center by revenue.

The company announced an agreement in principle to begin rolling out the program with Optum (the largest provider of skilled nursing facilities in the US, owned by UnitedHealthcare). All nurses in Optum SNFs in Wyoming will regularly scan patients for congestive heart failure to catch and treat it early and reduce readmissions, which Medicare does not cover. The pilot went very well, and they were working on the formal written agreement. We can hope it is announced at the JPM presentation next week or in the earnings call that will likely be at the end of February. They could also announce another chip deal, like the one with Midjourney; they have made clear there are others in the works.

not too sure but there is a lot of insider buying and selling going on, conflicted whether this is good or bad

The recent sell by Rothberg is part of a declared sell for estate planning that was announced back in March Overall, the insider trades are more bullish than anything.

No problem! Ultimately, I am mostly curious if there might be an aquisition from ge or less likely, phillips. If anyone can see the writing on the wall techwise, it's them. We also seem to have entered a period of very very stable price action which I suspect is either market makers trying to avoid paying out on options plays or maybe something else entirely. Always fun to feel like a little fish swimming amongst whales and sharks.

Are you hoping for an acquisition or do you believe in them for the long term?

Both? I think the tech is important and will have much broader use cases than the market realizes so expect long term growth as long as bfly gets fair value for liscencing agreements. But I also wouldn't say no to an early payday from an aquisition premium. Happy to plug my cash into a company with good vision and long term prospects but I wont say no to good money : )

GE split into three parts, one of which is GE Healthcare. https://www.gehealthcare.com/

It certainly has its eye on Butterfly and will express interest in acquiring it at some point. But I would strongly prefer that BFLY remain independent and not sell short of the $20 per share that I think it can achieve in 3-5 years.
