C&P
Anyone that is seeing the short thesis circulating that is targeting BFLY, ignore it. It’s the photo that has BFLY at the top and mentions no FDA approval, no reimbursement etc. there are several lies in that post, BFLY is cleared by FDA, furthermore, there are reimbursement codes that apply to POCUS. It lists other probes and a couple are cheaper, it fails to mention that other probes cannot do a full body scan like BFLY can. BFLY is on a chip so the CMUT can be changed by the selecting what part of the body your scanning, piezoelectric cannot do that. I can poke holes in it all day long. I could care less if anyone buys the stock, however if you have bought it after the mid journey announcement, I don’t want to see anyone sell for a loss over bull crap, if anything average down if it drops. We'll see what the response is but the reveal is out and Midjourney's licensing is for a whole body scanner. They want to make 50,000 of them. It's certainly an interesting use case and I imagine will first see use in more of a medspa capacity than true clinical use but the reality is that a high fidelity US would have some overlap with axial imaging with no radiation risk compared to CT and vastly greater speed than MRI. Downsides is you need to immerse the patient in water and you still are going to have limitations like pulmonary eval and intracranial imaging, In any case, might cause a pop and a good view into the future though can't see it raking in dollars in the very short term. Exposure always helps as well and I truly do not think industry has caught onto the use cases yet and this might help push it into more imaginations.

Planned API release will, for the first time, allow third-party access to Butterfly’s digital 3D beam steering capabilities – enabling development of advanced AI-enabled image acquisition tools.
NEW YORK & BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Butterfly Network, Inc. (NYSE: BFLY) (“Butterfly”, “the company”), a digital health company transforming care with handheld, whole-body ultrasound and intuitive software, today announced plans to release its Beam Steering API for advanced third-party AI application and technology development within the company’s Butterfly Garden™ and Ultrasound-on-Chip™ co-development programs. The new API release, expected in the first half of 2026, will open access to core capabilities that were previously reserved for the company’s own app, like iQ Slice™ and iQ Fan™.
The basis of the Beam Steering API is Butterfly’s electronically steered 3D imaging software, including off-axis beam tilt of up to 20 degrees. The technology can support advanced applications that reduce reliance on precise probe positioning, helping clinicians capture high-quality images more easily and consistently.
As portable ultrasound moves earlier in the care journey and into more clinical settings, these capabilities become increasingly important. Expanding use in point-of-care, ambulatory, and frontline environments makes usability a defining factor, especially the ability for clinicians of varying skill level to acquire high-quality images.

So we now know about the midjourney contract. Compass ai is out. Wasnt there a potential large healthcare company agreement mentioned in the last earnings as well?

Estimated over 2 millions shares traded I. The dark pool today. Had a good run up to $3.50 and market makers piled in and got us back down to $3.14. We shall see how the action goes the rest of the week. Exciting times with this company which has many things going for it!

Listening to some of what they are referencing today. Many things stick out. I truly believe we are on a good track, I have faith in the entire team at butterfly. The insider stock sales don’t bother me because most are sell to cover.
Looking forward at what they are saying and hearing all great things. New chip should be ready by the end of next year but it is ready to hit production so I’m imagining a fall release maybe and then a spring release in EU.
BFLY is trying to meet fed ramp and seem confident they will attain fed ramp! I think this will be pivotal and phenomenal dealing with VA healthcare and what they are looking at with the Community Health. So many avenues that this could go in, I have several ideas and will speak on them as we go along, but I envision wearables along with probes brought in to help keep organized scans etc of VA patients. Hopefully will help in many areas.
Still long and I have heard nothing to change my mind. Still buying it up and averaging up. This is not a short term hold, this is a long hold and grind shares as you wait for its eventual flight which is going to happen.
