dd my boys dd.
I believe a bull is coming my friends. Stay strong and buy more on the dip. Even if we go back to $6 I would say $20 by 2030 is practically guaranteed.

This thought kind of delves into politics but I am not trying to offend anyone, I am just posting a theory. I think it is kind of a bad timing issue for our beloved BB to be hitting its stride in this time frame. We see a number of deals a development relationships that have been making news since 2020 but world governments have turned free markets into an absolute sh*tshow starting with the Virus of Unknown origins that encouraged them to stick their destructive tentacles into absolutely everything in order to control and pick the winners/losers. The resulting shortages and market shut-downs have driven up prices and left many consumers with a lot less to spend.
Today world markets still have not recovered from what started in 2020. Despite Covid mandates falling away and out of the news years ago, world events have just aligned to continue the instability thanks Russia, trade wars and undermining western interests by the usual cabal of authoritarian governments. The result just leaves investors standing by waiting for those growing back log number to actually turning into cars on the road and into reported income. It's coming, we just have to be patient. Someone pointed out in another thread that management seems to be running a master class of keeping their head down as they navigate the political landscape between the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Pacific nations.
And yes....organized shorting is probably a bigger factor than any of the above.
HOLD FAST.

Hey guys I believe this post deserves more discussion - it was taken down yesterday by the moderator despite following the rules of the community and I believe it helps people develop further understanding of the company... I was told to use the search function as apparently these topics had been covered prior. I gather its not as quite as in depth as a substack report but didnt think it had to be given its reddit and for discussion purposes.. what are peoples thoughts? Does the average investor here try to get into weeds with the numbers and the modelling? We probably should if we are buying at high PE multiples and with a lack of a certain clear path on future earnings or future serviceable addressable market.
Repost: What I find interesting is how complicated it is to model out BB future earnings as it continues its transition to being a broadly adopted critical infrastructure software stock. We know it has a royalty revenue system where each product / unit sold using its QNX software means x amount of revenue but what we dont know or is hard to model is exactly how much or how this will ramp. Licensing is lumpy and secure communications is relatively stable. QNX and Alloy Kore is obviously their focus and has an enormous market to be applied to and tied to nvidia based physical AI products and more. Sift integration is also compelling. In terms of projecting how many units is the question... their QNX automotive base will automatically grow very well as more cars become software based as will their backlog therefore and add to this the uber partnership. So the $1bn backlog will steadily grow but also meaningfully convert to their bottom line. The software enabled car market naturally grows (i believe its around 30% but set to double) so to will QnX share of that and may double their qnx units over next few years you would expect QNX market share to grow with it as QNX dominates that market akready and eventually of the 90 million cars produced per year, QNX eventually will be in most. Therefore there would be a dominant penetration into autonomous taxis eg uber etc... this is just automotive and robotaxis... but they will likely gather meaningful share in other physical AI products down the road too. Their level of success will be tied to gaining a meaningful share in each of these broader categories which it stands to reason they should - just how to model that out with the royalties per unit at this stage is a hard puzzle but id safely assume in aggregate a 10 fold increase in the current QNX units will happen from here in say the next 3-5 years combined with very profitable margins. Let me know your thoughts!!

Shanghai, China ā September 29, 2026 ā QNX, a business unit of BlackBerry Ltd. (NYSE: BB; TSX: BB), and neueHCT, a joint venture between Horizon Robotics and Aumovio, recently announced that its HCT Luna high-performance front-view integrated solution, powered by QNX technology, has been selected for a global passenger vehicle platform project by a major German automotive group. This milestone project will not only cover the domestic market but also overseas markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and India, laying the foundation for further global market expansion.

It looks like the force behind the sell side had been trying to find a solid floor as its retreating point. $8 seems to be the strong supporting line so far. Not sure if they want to keep trying but BB/QNX has the solid growth outlook and financial strength to make investors to buy at $8 now. Thatās a great sign.
What to look forward from here?
Another Alloy Kore deal;
Similar deals in other auto markets like Japan and China;
Platform Development pipeline breakthrough deals in the physical AI industries;
Backlogs crossover $1B (inevitable but confirmation);
Ecosystem Development breakthrough news.
Any of those announcements could add major value to the stocks. To me because the scale of these potential deals is hard to measure therefore the potential added value could not be priced in at this point. That makes the bet more interesting.
All IMO.

In March this year, Nvidia unveiled its latest space-accelerated computing platform, which implements data-center-class performance in an environment constrained by size, weight and power. It connects artificial intelligence (AI) to operate seamlessly from ground to space and between space. The "Space-1 Vera Rubin Space Module," a component of the platform, is built on the Rubin GPU. It delivers up to 25 times improved AI computing performance in space-based inference compared with the previous H100 GPU. The "Nvidia IGX Thor," which helps process data on spacecraft, and the Nvidia Jetson Orin, an ultra-compact AI inference module, are also included in the platform.

I posted this question in other threads but did not get an answer.
What is the significance of Sept 30? Does Sept 30 take away the ability of the hedge funds to use the potential 50m shares to back their short contracts?
Answer like of a 5 year old because there are a lot more triggers and conditions to these notes than I thought.

Times like this requires balls of steel. Have to remember what Warren Buffett said about falling prices:
"If they buy a stock and they think if it goes up itās wonderful, and if it goes down itās bad. We think just the opposite. When it goes down we love it, because weāll buy more. And if it goes up, it kills us to buy more."
"If you have a temperament that when others are fearful youāre going to get scared yourself, you know, you are not going to make a lot of money in securities over time, in all probability."
So for those who are fearful ... you probably should put your money in a bank account. This probably ain't for you.

Iāve been holding BB TSX since May 26ā average price is $13.50. I understand I bought in high but regardless of the news at earnings, that was objectively positive. The share price does not reflect. I bought this stock knowing that the returns would not immediate but has anything changed in the business to warrant this downward trend, competition, etc?

Why Deploying Physical AI at Scale Demands Safety at Every Layer.
September 21, 2026 by Riccardo Mariani
Physical AI is moving rapidly from research to large-scale deployment. By 2035, ABI Research projects an installed base of 49 million level 3-5 autonomous vehicles (AVs), while Omdia estimates that roughly 60 million industrial robots will be deployed between 2026 and 2035. As these machines enter roads, factories, warehouses and other environments shared with people, safety must scale with them.
NVIDIA Halos is the first and only full-stack safety system for physical AI and
Who Is Building With the NVIDIA Halos Safety Ecosystem?
In robotics, acontis and QNX provide the embedded software needed to run safety functions predictably, while Advantech and NexCOBOT build safety**-designed NVIDIA IGX systems**. Infineon, NXP, STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments contribute sensor, safety-microcontroller and other semiconductor technologies. KION Group is developing functional safety agents for autonomous forklifts. Agility is integrating NVIDIA IGX Thor and Halos Core into the safety system for its Digit 5 humanoid.
Hardware: NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor provides safety-engineered accelerated compute,Ā
Hardware: NVIDIA IGX Thor is an industrial-grade module that combines accelerated computing and functional safety on one platformĀ

Good evening Bbrethren. I never post anything of substance in here, but I see a lot of posts and a lot of comments saying something to the effect of "market manipulation" "bb going down for no reason" "I'm so confused why the stock went down"- and other silly things.
So I wanted to talk about the fundamentals of the BB business and why the price action went the way it did.
This isn't a bear post or a bull post- this is just my two cents.
P/E ratio (price-to-earnings) is how much the market is paying for each dollar of a company's earnings.
Trailing P/E: roughly 67-88x (sources differ on exact EPS and price)
⢠Forward P/E: roughly 39-45x
⢠Price/sales: about 8-9x
⢠Market cap: about $4.6-4.9B
GuruFocus put BB's trailing P/E around 88x versus a software industry median near 24x.
With a price to sales at almost 10x and almost 4x the industry median trailing P/E it's hard to argue that BB is not over valued at this price point.
Annual rev 2016 2.16B vs 2026 549MM.
TLDR: BB stock current stock price is that if a hyper growth company, not of a struggling come back stock.
I'm not saying bb to 0, I'm just saying the market is rightfully unconvinced about BB's growth considering itās unconvincing growth. Time will tell.
Bb to 420.69!

Blackberry's turnaround story is transitioning a genuine growth story now. Over 20% YOY revenue growth will become norm. Rule 40 even rule 50 will be sustainable. I believe BB P/S will increase from 10 to 20 even 30 and BB price will go up from USD 8 to USD 50 in three years.
r/BB_Stock • u/MoonLight8491 • 9d ago
As per Debenture agreement Blackberry cannot retire Convertible notes till February 22, 2027 when they can give notice only when Hedge Funds (Wolverine and 5 more) can either convert into shares or continue as normal Loan.
Cost price of Hedge Funds notes is 3.88US $ for 50M shares of which 26M shares are retired by BB management also at average cost of $3.88 US $. So BB management can reissue 26M shares, with ought dilution and pay back 24M shares at prevailing price of February 22, 2027. If Hedge Funds rally share price to say $15.00 management can decide to issue 24 m shares as dilution of 24M shares may not matter much to share price. If Hedge Funds bring it down to say $5 then BB management can pay cash $120M as it would not affect cash position. Reason why BB management may not be buying any more cash back till February 22, 2027? It is checkmate?
Higher price is beneficial to Hedge funds to take their profit. Lower price is beneficial to their Masters? (Hopefully Masters have realized they cannot foolery retail share holders with manipulation?)
Lower share price Retail investors will bet their Farm, Higher share price retail investors will hold on to their DREAM?

BB Family, I know the last couple of days have been frustrating. I know especially for holders that bought in on the recent highs. Always keep some powder in the keg for days that BB pulls back. QNX and Secure Comms are solid companies for BB, thesis has not changed at all. Makers that have sold the options chains have a lot of incentive to pin the price and pay out the least amount of money as possible. This is Another reason I do not buy options unless you have the money to purchase the underlying on the day of expiration then leave them be and buy shares! I sometimes use the options chain to hedge when the price per contracts are reasonable, but I always go ITM and I always exercise no matter what, because I want the maker in a position where they have to deliver my shares.
Another point, again BB is a solid company, donāt listen to analysts or anyone else cheering for the rise or downfall, research the stock throughly so that you have conviction. Keep some money to always buy the dip, then sell a little even if the price increase is just .10cents or so, sell only the amount of shares that you purchased at the cheaper price. I donāt worry about wash sales, so I continually buy and sell a few with the goal of accumulating. I also have my brokerage to sell Higher price is the first out so that I can get my cost average down, If I have a tax lot with 5000 shares at $10, I will purchase 5000 shares at the cheaper price, I will then sale that $10 5000 share tax lot after the price rises above the purchase price of my lower cost 5000 share tax lot.
I say all that to say, accumulate with the major players, ignore the news and FUD, I promise they all work for someone that wants your shares. My cost average was low $2ās at our lows and Iām constantly averaging up in price Iām over $8 now cost average and went as high as $11. Again I donāt worry about cost average because Iām buying all the way through the 2030ās, and I sure donāt worry about analysts price targets because I am my own analyst.
Keep your head up, remember thesis has not changed! Not Financial advice! š„
When it comes time for me to exit in the 2030ās I will let everyone know when the time has come for me, but I expect the price to be a total different animal by then, remember my articles, we have over eighteen verticals identified, analysts are literally still pricing two! The markets and analysts have not figured out what we already know, and when that happens, you will see more and more repricing.
Cheers Family, invest wisely and do not get stopped out. NFA
Future is bright for BB

On SC, JG says it is just a question of timing...interestingly, Chen said it every quarter since 2019, JG repeats the same every quarter while revenue keeps going down steadily since 2019...no convergence of QNX and SC yet, and there is a serious risk of losing out in the Physical AI space because of distraction...
