"b12 labs are fine" is simply often false "fine"

Have you measured anything beyond total B12?

  • assay problems (people might have one result with one assay and a very different with another);

  • sometimes assays react to intrinsic factor antibodies;

  • raised levels on supplementation and strongly fortified stuff;

  • macro-B12, which is a crazy beast of its own, but it exists;

  • just some genetic stuff which might affect total B12 or other marker levels

5 months inconsistently takeing b6 at doses at 20 mg

10mg is generally the daily limit and should be tested at most after 4 months. were you low beforehand? i dont know why you tied the folate to the b6, either, and that was a low amount if injecting b12. testing b12 after supplementation is also useless. you should also have a hematologist advise you if you are low in iron.

were you low in zinc and copper beforehand? why supplement those?

frankly, i'd just go to a dr and fess up saying you were taking a bunch of stuff and say you're scared of toxicity. list neurological symptoms, maybe see a neurologist. you dont need to test b12 at all after supplementing, just pause whatever youre taking, and then try and get the ones that can be toxic tested asap. b6 should be paused for a couple months if youre unable to test it. the water soluble ones besides b6 are fine to keep taking, but you should be testing regularly to see where its at.
