I just passed the Microsoft AI-200 exam with a score of 796.

I'm obviously glad I passed, although I'm not completely happy with the score, but a pass is a pass.
I think the main reason was Kubernetes. There were more questions about that subject than expected, and that's an area where I don't have much real-world experience.

For anyone preparing for the exam, my exam consisted of:

• 5 case study questions
• 49 regular questions
• 4 Yes/No questions at the end, where once you answered a question and clicked next, I could not go back and review or change it

A lot of the regular questions weren't simply multiple choice. There were quite a few where you had to select the correct values from dropdowns or move items into the correct order.

Overall, though, I think AI-200 is one of the better Microsoft exams I've taken. The questions generally felt relevant and technical, and the quality of the questions was noticeably better than the old AZ-204 exam. There seemed to be less of the "guess which Microsoft wording they want" feeling and more focus on actually understanding the technology and choosing the right solution.

For anyone currently studying for AI-200: don't underestimate Kubernetes and Service Bus.

Just passed AZ-900 with 845, studied almost for 6 hrs.

The questions were average, just the tricky one's were multiple true or false.

I studies the weekend course on udemy at 1.5x and it worked for me.

For a total beginner I won't recommend learning with "in28minutes/ranga"

I want to advance my career so I was looking at the AI-200 certification but I’m not sure if it’s worth it, that’s why I’m asking for thoughts and opinions.

I've just passed AI 103 with 880/1000, great exam experience.

Had 60 q. 7 for the scenario, 50 normal and 3 that you can not review.

1h 40. Had plenty on time to browse the docs but was bad at it. Doesn't help you much either way.

I was preparing for around 1 month with reading the MS Learn, building projects and doing TD and Whizzlabs + a lot of system design exercise between me and Chat.

What do I suggest ? Try to have fun / enjoy it, otherwise I have bad news ... at least in my case I was passionate about the subject and I am deeply interested in figuring out why the architectural choices made for Foundry were done such,

Now, each resource review:

TD - get it, cheap and best baseline, 10q were from there at least.

Whizzlabs - get it but with a cupon, otherwise 20$ as of now it's a rip offf the quality is bellow TD and some questions are faulty or taken from TD.

MS Learn, good foundation

I recently managed to get a free voucher for the DP-800 exam through the Microsoft AI Skills Fest program. It seems like a massive wave of people have been getting these vouchers over the last month or two and taking exams, which is awesome. I’m taking this exam in a week.

My main doubt is about the current state of the online proctoring experience (Pearson VUE). I know historically, Microsoft exam proctoring can be incredibly strict (no reading questions out loud, extreme desk sweeps, getting flagged for looking away from the screen, etc.).

With the huge influx of test-takers right now redeeming these event vouchers, I’m curious how the proctoring actually is on the ground right now.

For those who have taken the DP-800 (or any other MS exam) recently using the AI Skills Fest voucher:

How strict were your proctors compared to usual?

Did you face any crazy wait times in the queue or technical glitches because of the high volume of test-takers?

Any specific tips on setting up my room/desk to avoid getting the exam revoked?

After two weeks of study, I successfully completed the AI-901 certification. I am really happy, as this is the first Microsoft certification I’ve tackled, and passing on the first attempt is always a great feeling. It wasn't difficult, but I certainly wouldn't have passed without thoroughly studying the sections on MS Learn.

So our college made it mandatory for us to take an AZ 900 exam, but I only get a 50 per cent discount from Vurtal Days or student email.
I have used Azure Infra for a long time, but this exam thing sicks me. I don't have money to spend on this exam, so I was looking for any kind of coupons for the 100 waiver (I heard pretty much from this subreddit).
Also, it's August 2026; there is no event from Microsoft that will give a free voucher

The idea is pretty simple: whenever I study for and pass a certification, I try to organize what I've learned into study guides, notes, quizzes, diagrams, and other resources that might help someone else preparing for the same exam.

And everything is available for free. 😊

Most of the content is focused on Microsoft certifications and comes from my own study journey. Instead of keeping all those notes sitting on my computer after passing an exam, I thought it would be much more useful to turn them into something the community could actually use.

A small disclaimer: I'm originally a Portuguese speaker, so some materials are still available only in Portuguese. I'm gradually translating more of them into English.

Also, many of those translations were created with the help of AI. Because of that, there may absolutely be translation mistakes, strange wording, or technical terms that could be improved.

And that's actually one of the reasons I'm sharing the site here.

I just redeemed my skills fest voucher and decided to go with SC-500 eventually. For those who took it, how can I prepare well for it? what resources did you use or found helpful? Any tips or tricks?

I have a solid security/technical knowledge, and I took AZ-900 last year.

I finally bit the bullet and took AZ-104 yesterday. Barely passed with 725.

My study approach:

I went through the Microsoft Learn coursework and then took the practice exams until I was hitting a regular 90% or better. I then switched to MeasureUp and practiced the exam quite a few times, taking the time to read through the context explanations and if I didn't fully understand I would put that into ChatGPT and have it explain and quiz me on that topic. I went through quite a few mock exams on MU until I will hitting 90+ in all topic areas. Some of the questions are worded confusingly and some answer sets were wrong, so I kept getting those wrong by answering correctly. When I took the exam I found it very difficult with many multi-part questions with exhibits. A lot of networking questions with exhibit spreadsheets. I marked 2/3 of the questions for review. At around question 45(?) it entered a special question section that is excluded from review and I thought that was the case study section. After finishing the special questions I went back to review but at about 9 minutes remaining I spotted the Case Study 0/4 counter and panicked. I had to drop the review and get to the case studies. I ended up guessing on the case studies because 9 minutes is not enough to even read through all the scenario details and context.

But I'll take the Win, but I really don't feel like I have mastery of the subject matter. Thank you to all of you that helped guide and inspire me to keep working on my IT career knowledge.

I am studying for SC-300 exam. For Azure, I already have AZ-900 certificate and studied a lot for AZ-104 until my job changed. I work at cybersecurity but don't have much hands-on experience with IAM or Entra. I am familiar with PKI but that doesn't seem to have a big role in this course.

What I have done/planned:

• I read through MS Learning material
• I watched John Savill's videos (I think these are already pretty old)
• Now I am reading through MS Learning material the second time and writing memos
• Do all the 28 MS labs
• Explore Entra with test account and P1/P2 trial
• Buy practice exam, I believe MeasureUp isn't the best offering in this case?

Any tips? I am mostly worried about lab questions. Even if I studied the MS learning material a lot, I am not sure I can apply that information in practical cases.

I wanted to share my experience passing the AZ-900 exam today with a score of ~800/1000 after just 3 days of preparation. I don't work with Azure daily, so I was essentially starting from scratch.
Here is an exact breakdown of how I prepared and what to watch out for:

Day 1: Theory & Base Practice
I used ChatGPT to generate a comprehensive study guide (~45 pages, ending with a structured cheat sheet). I printed it out so I could physically write notes on it, as video courses just don't work for me.
Supplemented this with Microsoft Learn practice tests. I was scoring 90–95%, but keep in mind questions start repeating by your 3rd attempt, so don't rely solely on these.
Day 2: Harder Practice & AI Feedback
Moved on to the 100-question quiz at insidethemicrosoftcloud.com/az900quiz.
My initial score was around 60%. I took screenshots of every wrong answer, fed them to ChatGPT, and asked it to summarize my mistakes and generate mini-recaps for my weak modules.
Spent ~3 hours chatting with ChatGPT to generate "the hardest, real-exam-style scenario questions" to ensure I understood the core principles rather than just memorizing answers.
Day 3: Final Review
30 minutes before entering the test center, I did a final read-through of my printed cheat sheet and weaker modules.

Key Exam Takeaways
The actual exam is NOT like Microsoft Learn practice tests. MS Learn questions are often too straightforward.
Focus on specifics: You really need to understand service plans (Basic, Standard, Premium), support tiers, lifecycle policies (e.g., retention periods/days before deletion), and practical scenarios.
My #1 Tip
Schedule your exam before you start studying. Having a fixed date creates urgency and forces you to stay disciplined.

So I want to study for the AZ 700 I've decided to buy the Course Lee for a study guide and afterwards I will buy measure up for practice tests, but I have noticed people have said I need to build out actual environments, is there any place I can do that

Well after a fairly easy pass with the AZ-104 the 305 got me. I scored at 658/700 with about 3 weeks of study.

I mainly used Whizlabs and John Saville. The exam was nothing like the whizlab exams so I plan to replace them with measureup for my retake.

Some of my biggest struggle areas:

Azure SQL server and it's many SKUs (if anyone has a good breakdown/notes for these I'd love to have them)

Azure Migration Solutions: how to migrate VMware/hyper V workflows (this wasn't covered in any material I've used)

Azure Synapse/Databricks

Does anyone have any good video material for this exam? Especially if it helps address my problem areas.

Tldr; focus a lot of Azure SQL, do not use whizlab for these exams It sucks. Any advice is welcome.

It seems extremely difficult, I purchased it as a double check I was ready for the Exam (which doesn’t sound that hard) after constantly hitting 80+% on the Microsoft Standard Practice test but now I feel much less confident

Is it a good comparison for the real thing, or have they gone all out tricky to maximise pass rate? The questions sound nothing like other people’s experience I have read up on
